One hundred and one years ago, 2-2 at St Andrews.
Looks like we didn't turn up for the replay.

On a trivia note Newcastle went all the way to the Final in 1906........but they lost to Everton 1-0

The last time The Geordies won this famous trophy was in 1955.......they beat Manchester City 3-1 in the Final

Man City in turn lifted the trophy the following season beating Blues 3-1 (1956) which was also our last appearance in a FA Cup Final

Our last victory against Newcastle was in fact at St James Park.....1-0 (David Dunn).... Premier League August 30th 2003

Best away day ever... I had £5 on Dunn to score 1st and blues to win 1-0 @ 75/1.

I think I was the only nose in St James that didn't want stan to score when he went through one on one with Given towards the end!

Thanks for the ££££££'s Dunn.

Someone measured the distance didn't they, from the back of the away's to the centre circle.
Its either half a mile or three miles - can't remember. But it feels like five. :D

I know it is 14 flights of stairs! I have sat that high myself, as there are some home seats up there too and sometimes it is the only place there is a ticket left. Usually have to take a rest half way up! :(

Well i put a tenner on us to win 4-0 against Blackburn couple of years ago in the cup, as the beat us 4-0 in the league, it was at 66/1, so i had good payout :D
