If we all knew how this story would unfold, do you think the deal would have been done in the first place. Hindsight is 20-20.

Its not worked out to be our greatest deal. But some you win and some you lose. I don't think many of us were too critical at the time we signed him. I for one was over the moon, and I do have some good memories, not least when the ball went out of play at vile dark. So long Dunny.

Got to admit I was pretty excited when he signed for us.

When he played, he showed real class.

As Canadian says, hind sight is a wonderful thing (I'll probably be rueing my "stupid 'Blues to win 3-1 tonight' bets" by 10.30pm, but as with most things in life, it's a gamble.

I'm just glad we managed to get him off our books for what looks like £2m+, and no more paying his wages, while he is still able to play!

I reckon he'll have a re-occurance of some injury or another before the end of this season & struggle through next season before having to announce his retirement from the game (and that is not a wish - I do actually wish him well, so long as he helps Blackburn towards the bottom of the Prem **thumbup )

Good bit of business for us today, me thinks :applause:

We've let all our big players go, if Upson and Forssell leave and when the Arsenal boys go back we're going to be desperately short of prem quality next season.

I hope we've got a few big names lined up.

I wouldn't consider Forssell prem quality on current form, I hope he shakes this knee thing off because that season when he got 17 he was amazing.

He looks a shadow of himself nowadays though so we already are down on prem quality

Everybody forgets the players like Upson that we signed, or Maik Taylor, or Pennent. Half empty people only remember the bad signings!
