one of the best performances i have seen from blues for a long tim, there wasnt a weak link, i saw n gotty was playing right back and was worried, he was class, johnty marked dyer out of it, upson and taylor 10 out of 10 , and the wingers and front two were sensational , killer dannsy and nafti all did well when coming on as well, the futures bright ... the futures blue !!!!!!!! Awesome!

Bruno did incredibly well....he surprised me - and the way he put his goal in it was as though "what was all the fuss about!" the way he looked afterwards.

Only downside was Seb got a knock in scoring the 4th goal.

5-1!!!!!!!! I'm in dreamland.

Absolutely gutted I wasn't there. Not missed a game for 2 years, but couldn't get time off work for this one........ :( :(

And - it's Newcastle's worst defeat in the cup at home since 1914..... :P

Still - BBC did OK, and in general all agreed (even Shearer) that we deserved the win.

Can we be on BBC every week ?

KRO,

C.

Hats off to Hansen. Everyone was going on about how poor Toon was, when he suddenly piped up and pointed out how good we were. After that, they were all on about us, and bloody rightly so and all!

And Alan shearer admitting we could and should have been 3 or 4-0 up at half time.

Wow that was a great performance

I thought that our front 4 (McSheff, DJ Campbell, Jerome & Larson) were all fantastic in the way they worked together as well as individually.

Pass and move, one touch football, moving it into space everywhere, great crosses and so on...
Best football i have seen off a Blues side maybe ever. Such a shame we haven't still got Dunny but good luck to him in the rest of his career with his home town club we will get on without him fine.

Well Done lads :applause:
I though that once we were 4-1 up we were controling the game very well (pass and move, keeping the ball going)
An all round good team effort and live on national TV. :applause: :Blues: :banner:

Lets have more of the same **thumbup

Larrson looked very good and if we can get the deal for him all done and dusted i think that we will have captured a brilliant winger, McSheffrey took his goal very well and kept on giving defenders alot to do (running at them and weaving aroud them (good to watch)) he also got back and defended alot and helped out Sadler, DJC and Jerome just both kept on running and DJC was able to get his rewards and although Jerome did not get on the score sheet he must of had a few assists. N'Gotty took his goal very well, Upson and Taylor did well at center backs, Sadler also did well because he was up agaisnt a bit of pace, Taylor commanded his area very well he collected crosses comming in (not much could be done about the goal it was just one of them shots), Muamba put the work in along with DJ both making some excellent tackles, the subs also did well (even though they wernt on for long) Kilkenny i belive was the one to put DJC through with an brilliant through ball, Nafti played the ball around a bit and Danns kept on running down the wing and got some free kicks (because Butt decided to kick him for some reason)

There were a few errors tonight but i wont bother to mention many Sadler fell over a few times (get some studs in lad ) Nafti took a bit too long on the ball (but he was there to slow it down to a nice passing pace) a few wasted chances earlier on, and early in the game we messed around with the ball in our own box which is not clever (i put the last two down to a bit of nerves and tension)

Well done tonight lads 5-1 cracking result, now back to the race to the Prem!

I am always proud to be a birmingham city fan, Whether defeat comes my way by 7-0 or whether my team gives a performance like that and wins 5-1, Apsolutely AMAZING that is really amazing, I remember 5-0 last season against Portsmouth, That night hell yeah we won by 5 but didn't deserve 5, But why would you complain, Tonight we deserved every single goal that came to us and we could of even got more, Well done Bruce and well done to the fans up their representing Birmingham, Bring on Reading, Love you Blues
KEEP RIGHT ON

i don't even think we played 100%

even at 5-1, i still figured we were in 2nd gear yet still making the Premiership team look like amateurs

we had Bendtner, Kelly, Forssell, Jaidi and Dunn (obviously) all missing yet we still peed all over them
