Hi again you happy Admin people ....... It would seem that you may have missed my previous post below, which is a shame because i now have to spend time repeating it. In very big letters on Blues Chat, it says in the "Board Rules - please read before posting" section ...... If you do not agree with them or indeed with the way this board is moderated you should consider using other Blues message boards instead! There are plenty of them out there and details can be found here Please remember using this message board is a privilege NOT a right! However, no-one can agree with the rules as written because they are actually incorrect and inaccurate Rule 12 says "12) No tickets can be advertised for sale on this board at more than face value. This is touting and posts will be deleted. The wording of this rule would lead one to believe that you CAN advertise tickets at face value. Indeed i have seen people advertising tickets at face value on here in the past. However as i have previously pointed out it is illegal to resell tickets above face value, at face value or even below face value without the express permission of the club supplying the ticket. To quote from the reverse of every single Blues match day ticket "If this ticket is re-sold or transferred without the previous written consent of Birmingham City Football Club, it will become void and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the stadium There have already been several well-documented cases this season (not at Blues) of police arresting people for selling tickets at face value because the original person they bought it for has let them down, and i'd hate any fan to be misled by inaccurate information on here. If these are the rules of the ticket office, and the rules of BCFC, and the rules actually written on the reverse of our tickets, why are the rules on the messageboard different ? Hope this helps. |
