Dominated at times, were sloppy at others. Didn't help that whenever the midfield closed down a Leeds player would fall to the ground and get a free kick, but Doyle didn't make a save worthy of the name and was only beaten by one shot which hit the post before being cleared, when play should've stopped anyway because N'Gotty was down holding his head. But for some reason yet again a head injury doesn't mean stopping the game just because he plays for the Blues.

Could've scored more but for a few poor choices infront of goal and the woodwork denying Bendtner.

Overall a comfortable win on a pitch which seemed to play very poorly in places, at times the ball wasn't bouncing at all.

Just got back.

I would say much the same as we have played for the last few games.

We don't look like champions.

We are top but I sometimes wonder how!

I think we scored an own goal but it wasn't given, I think theball did cross the line and

(Sorry it posted before I had finished)

I would like tosee it on a TV replay.

I thought Clem had a good game, and it was nice to see gray get 10 mins.

Other than that it was a bit of a none event, 3 points though and I guess thats all that counts.

Lets hope we give a better showing on Sunday.

come on you blues

We made fairly heavy whether of it and were out played for large periods of the first half. Leeds really should have scored and missed a couple of glorious chances, maybe that’s why they are bottom because there certainly didn’t look like 24 places between the teams.

In the second half we were fairly comfortable without ever really threatening a second goal until the end, when we should have a couple more, but only because Leed’s piled everything forward and left huge gaps. Our finishing was woeful.

Biggest problem, again, was we poor ball retention and passing plus we try to over complicate things. Makes you wonder how good we could be if we played as a team.

Saying all of that though we did win and we are top of the league :Blues:

I, think it will have to be better on Sunday

Clem was head and shoulders above any otherplayer on the park, Vine played very well and didn't deserve to be pulled off. Muamba is somewhere other than St Andrews in his head, Bendtner was again not at the races, poor finishing denied him a hatrick, but again there was no real will from him, Sads was our best attacking player in the first half and was our best defender all night , Kelly settled back in well and McSheff is still off colour but he did put 100% in which was good to see, Larsson waspoor, CJ looked very lively when he came on.

We was better in the 2nd when we should have put the game to bed, we let them in the 1st too much and I do think they scored but the linesman wasn't up with play and didn't give it.

But top of the league tonight ,lets all go to bed happy!!

For me tonight we played the game at a much better tempo, we passed the ball better and looked more positive. I also felt that leeds didnt really cause us to much trouble, cant remember doyle making a save, whereas we had hit the post twice and their keeper made a couple of brillant saves. No for me a much better performance due to better passing and played at a pace that suited us.

much better last night,
more effort put in by the boys, you could see the crowd a bit edgy,
thought clem and kelly were great ,
i would hand the captains armband to clem for the rest of the season,we could have scored more but thats how it goes,
but another 3 points which is the aim.

1st half be we made hard work of it and to be honest didn't really deserve to be in front... however we were!! 2nd half we played a lot better! We dominated the game, passed well and should have buried Leeds. Leeds didn’t even have a shot of note in the second half! I couldn’t believe some people were booing and jeering the passing and controlling of the game we demonstrated!! Screaming for long balls… some people really do show football naivety at times, if I was you I wouldn’t watch Arsenal… you’ll want to slit your wrists!

And to those who booed grey they should be ashamed of themselves….

with Mcsheff struggling with injury i can see Grey starting a game,
but will fans give him a chance,
just remember how some treated Martin Taylor and how he has responded,
give the players a chance.

I do wonder why some people boo him? because he doesn't make as many tackles as some would like!! I'm too young to remember but some of the older lads were talking about other players that never tackeled ever... TF for example... its just not in their game! why does grey have to be crunching in to tackles?

I saw the two instances where Gray was booed close up, he'd got no chance of winning the ball for the first one and McSheff's pass was slightly over hit for the second one. We need the likes of Gray if only to keep the others on their toes, this is where Bruce has let himself down greatly this season. Get behind Gray and McSheff and Sadler may think they've got some competition.

Distinctly average! dominated for most of the game, but still didnt fill me with confidence! need to tackle more and take chances with shooting.
Great we won though!

we played, we won, we're top - what else is there to know...?

That we played the worst team in the league and that standard of football won't be good enough in our remaining games.

I thought Leeds were abysmal, but we made them look good at times, at others played them off the park, why oh why oh why, couldn't we put a few more past them, our strikers were awfull, still at least Bendtner worked a bit harder last night, and after seeing the replays for their supposed goal, I think it was too tough to call and as the law states 'if in doubt don't give', well done to the lads on a hard earned but overall deserved 3 ponts. :applause:

I think Bentner was getting back to somewhere near the form he showed earlier in the season. According to SB on the post match comments on our web site, bentner has had a problem with his ankle since his injury in January. Hopefully now he will regain his form since I think he is crucial to our success up front.

this is true jassy, grey is anttack mided player and it is'nt his game.

it realy fuddles my edd when fans boo players , i never liked izzet and thought he was complete pap but i never booed the bloke. when he was playing.

greys a good player and should be given a chance i think he would do realy well in this division. **thumbup
