Shocking!

Unexpected need to move the floodlights?? - this was first expected to be completed by the Centenary game - December 26th - surely the plans for building the screen would have highlighted the need to move the lights at that stage
It was pretty obvious as the light are right on top of the pitch!
I wonder whether this has any bearing on the division we'll be playing in next year?

Maybe if we're still languishing in ther Fizzy Pop league - we may not be able to afford it?

Maybe it's not such a good idea after all - action replays of the crowd booing!? :copno:

I've heard they are scrapping the big screen in favour of seat back screens, 1 per seat, and there are video games for half time too. And free in-match snacks.

wtf** What is this bl**dy obsession with a 'big screen'? Why do we need one?... How will it help the team?... We've been years and years without one... so what does it matter? No-one dies because we don't have a screen to look at!!! Get over it FFS!!!

idont know why we need one tobe honest lets face it you can only see the screen in the ground and if your in there ground you know what the score is.

rathere they spent it on the team tobe honest.

All I ask is that we occasionally paly to the potential we have - I don't think that is too much to ask. Few were complaining we were held by Sunderland - that's because they are a decent team. But I think it's fair to grumble when we can't beat Luton, Southend or Hull...and the team is consistently not playing anything like decent football.

That's a disgrace IMO. They shouldn't make promises they can't keep.

yes of course their aloud to show action replays. spurs were never formally told off by the fa. it was the manner in which the replay was shown which kicked up the fuss.

i am disapointed the screen isn't going up because it does add to the experiance of the game, i loved it away at coventry! when i pay £62 for two tickets to watch the bottom of the league championship side, it would make me feel i have had a little more value for money with a big screen in the stadium. adds to the experiance imo.

Could it be, that we are actually going to look at expanding the main stand in the near future???

With Blues getting permision (probally unexpectedly), to knock down the flats, perhaps it has tampered (in a nice way) with the boards plans, of positioning of the new screen.

Its only guess, mind!

Gold has said before they wont do that because it would cost too much and if they did the tickets would be the most expensive in the premiership, this was last season though. But we would be looking at £40+
