iI have come to the conclusion that in some respects Blues are similar to Chelsea.

1) Very rarely reach the performance levels the players are capable of.
2) Still find a way to win even when they do not desevre to.
3) Over reliance on 2-3 players. Blues Bendtner, McSheff, ?. Chelsea Drogba, Lampard & Terry.
4) Over critical supporters who seem to think we have a god given right to win every game (not all supporters)
5)Very rich owners.
6) Play in blue.

Personally i think we will get promoted but it will be ugly and not too pretty. I couldn't care less if this is the case, CCC is horrible and the prem is the place to be with or without Bruce.

Fozzy Lou. You could add to point 4 that there are (at least were) a lot of new supporters who didn't really get to experience the bad old days, thus increasing the expectations of the club as a whole.

I for one remember Blues in the old, old, old division 3, playing in a stadium with a shed and pee running down the back of the stadium. To even mention playing in the top flight with world cup winners would've guaranteed you a straight jacket and the men in white coats to take you away.. That's the problem with a lot of moaning fans, the level of expectation. With both Blues and Chelsea, this must weigh heavy on the players shoulders - not conducive to building confidence, unfortunatley. Doesn't matter how much they get paid, they're still human.
