Well for me Cardiff is an alright place, fans are a bit fractious, but have met some good lads who are Cardiff fans, they are not that bad, no worse than any others.

:P

At the moment I’m happy with the manager who got us into the prem for the fist time and the top division for the first time in ages. I’m happy with the manager who has got us sitting top of the league. Perhaps it’s because I didn’t see all those old blues teams who used to rip other teams apart week in week out with their free flowing attacking football. Or because I cannot remember all those previous managers who were so successful. I must have been at home washing my hair when all that was going on.

This is the blues we are talking about. A club who have never been able to match the expectations of their fans, a club who has never won anything of note (the League Cup wasn’t the competition it is today when we won it and winning the soccer six at the NEC doesn’t count). A club who has been unable to match the big clubs in respect of transfers or attendance and have always been a selling club. The last few years at the club have been the most exciting for a long time. Although this year has been frustrating at times overall it has been quite exciting. We are going into games with a realistic chance of winning and seeing some goals. Added to that we now have a chance to get tickets for away games which wasn’t always the case when we were in the prem. Whilst it’s enjoyable to see the Henry’s, Rooney’s and Lampard’s of this world it does get a bit tedious after a while getting hammered or having no realistic chance of winning. I think a year in the Championship will be enough but at least we have had something to be cheerful about- not that you would think that listening to some of the people on here.

I'll give you an update then, Bruce is hopeless. There you go, you're up to speed now just don't wash your hair in future!

With a better manager this league would be over by now. Bruce has had more money to spend and more fans watching than most leagues in this division. He has no excuse. We can't even outplay flipping Leeds!

GET LOST BRUCE tomatoes

I'd like to complain about the rain... it's just too wet for me. Please Brucie can we have some dryer rain. I know Sully set his weathering policy at the start of the season but i don't think the umbrella buyers would mind if you offered just little more dry weather. :silence:

This just about sums up why we have never and probably won't ever win naff all, no ambition yet another who can't aim high :banghead:

not knocking here salad, but can you just explain what it is you do (by aiming high) that is changing the club into winners that is different to what dal for example is doing? because for the life of me, i don't see how fans can hold back a club other than by non-attendance - similarly, no-one has yet satisfactorily explained how the reverse works!!

If your aiming the non attendance at me don't bother i go to most home games, didn't go Tuesday due to a late meeting in Tewkesbury.

As for the rest im hitting on the mind set of a lot of supporters and the manager and to some extent the board that its ok if Blues are poor as its part of being a Blues fan, total rubbish, for Blues to move forward and actually become a club that win something and establish themselves in the premier, then they have to start believing it, we have to retain our better players and stop being a selling club, we need to invest more in our academey and scouting net work, and we need to treat our customers better.

Just my Opinion of course but thats what i believe we have to do, but haven't really done in the past.

like i said, i wasn't knocking...

obviously i understand what your saying about mindset etc, but you still haven't explained how an "ambitious" mind-set actually materially affects the club in a positive way?
