Very pleased to see at last that the usual negativity on the BCFC official board is declining - at last people are getting behind the team and whilst we all agree that the football could be better, the pitch is a disaster, the supporters are a bit quiet... for once we played our hearts out in dreadful conditions and battled to a 1-0 victory. Well done to Brucey and the lads on today - I would not have liked to be out there on this cold wet sunday morning and the 6 points we got out of the last 2 games are well earned... bring on derby... and keep up the positive support (it does help)

It also helps that the club, especially Sully, have taken a less confrontational and more conciliatory approach. They have also listened to some of the fans concerns over cost.

Long may it continue :Blues:

Look lets not get carried away ,first half was sunday park football and for long spells we just hoofed it up the park and it came straight back,i do post negative stuff because the quality of football played by us frightens me a lot of the time, but like every bluenose i long for us to be back in the premership playing against the best in the land ,but rest assured if we do make it ,we only have 3or 4 players who might cut it in the prem, and a couple of those are not ours,so if we get there i think there will be massive building of a new team to be done and even as we sit top of the league i dont think bruce and black are the men for that job. :banner:

Don't rely on it.

Sullivan made a big thing of telling us we were getting a £10m player not so long ago.

He was on about Forssell. £3m transfer fee and the rest was made up from his salary, bonuses and al other fees.

So, on that evidence, your £40m worth of players could consist of 4 £3m players who wouldn't be enough in our squad.

The time to really get excited is when they spend a real £40m on transfer fees alone.

I think your view of the first half as sunday park football is way off the mark and epitomizes my view that negative posters will seldom make any positve comments. Cardiff are a very good side that put a lot of pressure on us in the early stages of the match but gradually we got to terms with their strategy. No matches can be 90 minutes of pure football by any club and to think otherwise is like being in Disneyland.

Big Sam don't get that sort of cash to spend, it's not always about money.
