Well done Blues.

Well some plus points from tonight are
Vine- scoring a goal to give him some confidence
Taylor and N'Gotty played brilliant at the back
Doyle looking better each game now

Minus point McSheff.....well will be a big miss for 3 games now....who will take his place?
Gray, or even place Vine over there and bring Forssell in to the fray?

1-0 that will do! Shame about the Red Card, but McSheffrey saw the red mist after giving away that free kick i just hope that it does not cost us in other matches. Well Done lads, 7 points clear of 3rd place and top of the league :D

Come On Blues!

Phew, I thought that final whistle was never going to come. McSheffery fully deserved his red, it was an awful challenge, two footed in the air.

3 points! Brilliant :D

yes great win - well done you blues!

straight red can be for deliberate handball, professional foul, violent conduct, serious foul play or foul and abusive language

i think mcsheffrey will be 3 games but not 100% sure

Tense match, Derby didn't look like they were going to do too much damage. We held them off well and closed down and did what we had to do. Great win :banner:

Absolutely chuffed.

I've been calling for Bruces head all season but I was impressed with some of his decisions tonight and impressed with the way the team battled to a great win. Definately time to put differences aside and come together for the common cause.

Vine, superb once again.

McSheffers needed a rest but I'm not sure that was the way to go about getting one. ;)

We are top of the league......... **thumbup

Tough to watch on Sky, particularly after red card. On TV they said, straight red, 3 matches - McSheffrey will be missed.

Vine MOTM on Sky - no complaint with that decision, unlike some of the ref's......
Clemence all through, Larsson after sending off also in top form.
Back 5 again very solid.... 5 1 nil wins in seven matches - not good for the heart, but showing form to hold onto top spot.

The pitch now has a chance to be fixed, with international matches, next home match April 1.

Top of the league!!!! - now stay there!!!!

Automatic singing.Regardless of whether the team needed it or not.

Standard tactics. (Absolutely no Plan B for a Red card)

I'm glad we won obviously, but its a warning in NEON for the board.
We need a manager that has a clue if we go up..

Sorry guys, this is not an anti-team post, but a realistic post. With our players we should be like Reading were this time last year - 20 points clear of the dross.

Come on Steve, get out of your comfot zone.

Well said. **thumbup

It surprised me that he resisted the temptation to introduce DJ when Jerome came on. So full marks to Bruce for that.

I can't believe I've just read those two posts. Top of the league, seven points clear of third place and some people still criticise.

I wonder why Brummies have the reputation of being some people. I'm sure I don't know.
