quite simply the best midfield performance since the blonde muppet left. on his own he probably made more interceptions, tackles and breaks forward than any other player on the pitch.

Brill.

He doesn't have anything to learn about harassing and nicking the ball.

Just needs to spend all his effort on the training ground on knowing what to do when he is haring towards their area with the ball at his feet, space in front of him and a forward or two ducking and diving in front.

He is going to be awesome.

I used to love Dean Peer, the only diffrence between the two was Dean Peer did not look like a frightened rabbit in the 18 yrd box.

Muamba gives great energy, but he has no 1st touch and he can't pass. There is a future for himin he game but I'm not sure it will be as a top clas player, again like Bendtner, Wenger must have a reason why he does not have himin his carling cup team???

For me Clem is our most important player and was again, like sunday, head and shoulders above any other player on the park tonight

clem and mumba were immense in the centre, fair play to both of them. **thumbup :applause:

and both were the last players off the field at the end applauding us fans and really enjoying the moment which is what you want to see.

r u mad? bendtner and Muamba played last year in the CC and are getting better grounding playing in the CCC than 6-7 games in a cup that isn't rated by Wenger.

He covered a fair bit of ground tonight, and he seemed to get a second wind towards the end of the game with his forward runs.

But one of these days one of his shots is going to fly into the back of the net. Maybe the goal that gets us promoted?? :P

Mark my words, when he does get his first goal, it's going to be something special **thumbup

Going back to the original post.
Muamba looked like Sav to me, and that is meant as a compliment, he was everwhere, drove us on and was the last player off the pitch rousing the crowd; as if we needed it.
In truth he played and responded as if he is despartate to join us.
Well done FM. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Sign him up, sign him up sign him up!!!!

To be honest it would be just magnificent if he said he wanted to stay and Arsenal agreed.

LAst night he was everywhere - an awesome display from a young kid, and with another fabulous performance by Clemence right next to him, we really have a very strong midfield two.

Congrats to both last night, simply outstanding.

Both Fabrice and Clem were awesome. I hope that as long as they continue to perform like that Steve won't tinker with the pairing. I suppose with McSheff going missing for 3 games he could accommodate DJ on the right and put Seb on the left? The only prob with that is we're losing a creative midfielder (Mcsheff) so if any of the three gets left out it has to be DJ. feed.back

Yes, i like Muamba, hes got some class about him and he actually got a shot off last night.

But to be honest, whenever he gets the ball he always looks scared and doesnt know what to do. Midfield definitely needs work although Larrson and Kelly played well on the right wing, and cant argue with Sadlers Defending.

Posted earlier in the week about Muamba, he was immense last night again.......if the guy can learn to shoot, and if SB can get him to sign, he will be SB's best bit of bussiness and a legacy for years to come.
