So Jonty returns.... Who wears the Captain's armband? Cos again we are on a winning run with Clem as the Captain.... This happened the last time that Jonty was injured.... This is not an anti Jonty thread.... It is a pro Clem for Captain thread! There is a solution for Brucie.... Make Jonty Club Captain and Clem Team Captain just as he did with Jeff Kenna who went from Team Captain to Club Captain when Cunningham was made Team Captain! For me this is a no brainer.... Clem has to be Captain on that pitch whatever happens! |

I think that is a little unfair.... If you look at this positively we actually are winning when Clem is the Captain.... And that's because he is vocal, pro-active, encouraging and everywhere on that pitch.... |

yeah, you're correct however, tackles using excessive force, which are a straight red are a 3 match ban, because of the shear malise of the tackle. "proffesional fouls" as you call it are a common term for Denying an obvious goal scoring opportuniuty, which are only a one match ban, due to the fact they did not intend to hurt an opponent just stop the player from scoring a goal, i.e player one on one with goalie defender trips him (jiadi at hull - he got a 2 match ban for this because it was his second red of the season, his previous red was for the same "proffesional foul" against obafemi martins) i hope that clears your understanding? |

Good! I'm glad that's sorted.... Any chance we can get back on track now? Clem to remain the Team Captain.....? |

if damien johnson starts a game he will wear the captains arm band his the club captain, captains the squad at training, in the dressing room and in public, so he will do it on the pitch when he starts a match. |

i am not a johnno fan but he is our captain and i never doubt his commitment, he should not play when we have a larsson and mcsheff available but i will be more than happy to call on him when he is needed... with 2 away games coming up he will do a great job , especially the albion game when he wont give koumas a kick...... GET BEHIND ALL OF THE LADS !!!!! we are getting very close now to getting back in the prem KRO.............. |

I'd like to see larsson stay on the right I think he links up really well with Kelly, but against the baggies Jonty has to play so we can try and nick a point or all three. I'd like to see gray against coventry at home especially because he is a more attacking option because you have to win your home games. |
