I like the kid and think that in the future he will be a very big talent. Its going to take some time for him to learn the game and to be more physical.Arsenal have time to build on that and exerienced players around to help him improve his overall game. If he was to stay at blues i do not think he will improve much as all our fowards are still learning the trade them self. In 2-3 years time im sure he will be a supurb prospect but we havent got the time on out hands for him to take that long as we need ability in players now not in a few years time. Im happy for what he has so far done for the club even though his goal tally hasnt been what i though it may be after a good opening to the season but if you look back when he was scoring goals the team wasnt realy winning so we changed how we played which ment bendtner hasnt scored that many goals but at the end of the day i would rather win as a team effort rather than one player scoring all the time. If We was to have some one of arsenal next year i would mind carlos vela...Even better than bendtner and has way more about himself.

The guy has talent - we should enjoy it while we can - unfortunately talent is not necessarily appreciated down at Blues!!!

We have always loved those players who work hard and battled but its still nice ocassionally to see some class a la Francis and Dugarry

Kevin Francis was quality, I'll give you that...

Bottom line,

HE WON'T GET IN THE ARSENAL TEAM BECAUSE HE AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH YET.

He must be number 5 striker there now after spending time with us and their reserves doin so well in the cup.

I think Bendtner has been 'cruising' for months. He was a different player at the start of the season - but now he's 'proved himself' (at this level at least) he's taken his foot off the gas. He knows he's not staying after season-end, he has no real affinity with Blues, he's an arrogant and petulant so-and-so... I think it's a gamble to play him at all. Let's use the strikers who have some long-term affinity with the club and AREN'T guaranteed premiership football next season like Bendtner is - we might see more effort!!

Well said Bournville :applause:

I'm sure even Bruce must realise this. I don't know whether there is some sort of agreement on the loan that says that Bentner should play a certain amount of times (if fit/available), but if not, I wouldn't even put him on the bench for the rest of the season I don't care how good he CAN be, If he is not interested in rolling his sleves (& socks) up when it is needed for the team, then I'm not interested in his 5 minutes of brilliance.

at the moment we have a former wolves loanee starting who scored twice for them

anything would be better than that
