Excellent gesture by the board. Plus tickets are a reasonable price - me and my lad (non ST holder) can go for a total of £40 inclusive of travel and booking fees - can't complain at that. :applause: :applause:

Wouldn't mind seeing a hundred or more coaches full of Bluenoses heading up the motorway - bet the service station will be looking forward to that! :P

I Assume that this game will be in the normal routine of ATC members can buy tickets first then ST Holders.

hopefully the charge for that will be scrapped next season... a poll tax on loyal fans makes no sense at all... anybody who buys tickets for 5 or more away games during the season should get ATC membership automatically imo ...

No Need to panic nrlawton, i think this season there is only 500 max members of the ATC club, where as last season there was over 2000.

So should be plenty to go on sale to ST Holders.

This will be my first time on the club coach (usually go in the car if travelling away)...does anyone know if any of the car parks are open near our ground to park the car or are we expected to park in the streets nearby?

A few of us bought our train tickets for this match a few weeks ago - but I'm fine with that. If it means we get a large away following then fantastic IMO. **thumbup

Me and my mate are gonna go. Should be a top day out if we get any where near 8000 fans go. Would be an awesome atmosphere in the away end.

This will be my first time on the club coach (usually go in the car if travelling away)...does anyone know if any of the car parks are open near our ground to park the car or are we expected to park in the streets nearby?

For a "normal" Away game, when there's only 4 or 5 coaches (max), the Kop car park is open and I've yet to see it full if I've gone by coach.

The Barnsley game may be a different kettle of fish, though, as I doubt they'll be enough space to accomodate everyone's car if we take, say, 20+ coaches. Street parking may well be the only option for late arrivals.

KRO,

C.

Times have changed then. When I used to get on the official coaches, they parked all along the road outside, and the fans parked their cars in the Kop car park.

Still, if the coaches are in the away car park, then the fans can still park in the Kop - so presumably no probs.

I'm away in York for the weekend "no" but had already arranged my train from York - Barnsley on the Monday prior to ticketing arrangements being posted. I was always going to go even if I could'nt get a ticket in the Blues end !! :banner:

Chunky, go for it cause you will love it.

I've seen over 25 away grounds (assume Vile park counts) and the experiences are fantastic.

Fair play to the board for this.
