What about those of us who got a half season ticket this year? Will we get the discount?

was it offered to you at the time you bought it? if not then I wouldn't have thought so -

I have spoken to club about this and they confirm that the only people getting the 20% discount are those that bought their tickets by the deadline of 30th June last year and paid full price for them - ie no 10% discount.

The prices of tickets for everyone else will be released shortly

Based on what they said at the start of the season that is how it should be. But in the article she is quoted as saying

Quote:

WE take The Sun campaign very seriously which is why I am delighted to confirm a 20 per cent cut next season for all current Birmingham City season ticket holders.
The decision has been made regardless of whether we fulfil our fans’ dreams and regain a place in the Premier League.

Now that begs the questions

1) Has she told a deliberate lie?

2) Does she not know what is going on at the club and is confused as the fans to the pricing structure at the moment.

3) Or did she want to make the club look good in The Sun when clearly this offer was never going to be offered to "All Season Ticket Holders" as per her quote

Clearly the people who run this club should get there facts right before making grand statements through the national press and hopefully if there were any inaccuracies in the article she will correct it in the national press as to what the true pricing structure will be at the Blues next season.

To be fair, it's a small article in The Sun. They probably didn't think to check the intricacies of the story. It's The Sun after all.

The article says that all season ticket holders get the 20% discount but what they don't say is that those people who renewed at the begginning of the season will get the discount on the cheaper season tickets but people like me who only got a half season ticket will also get the discount but the prices of the season tickets will be higher. We will probably still end up paying more even with the discount. :banghead:

If it wasen't for the long standing loyal supporters who decided to make a stand against the club by not renewing our s/t maybe just maybe none of you would be getting a 20% discount, just a thought.

Contradiction there I'm afraid. Long time loyalsupport who don't attend matches. Don't fit.

Don't believe anything you read in the papers or on the internet. That way things will become a lot clearer.
