Martin has been involved with England at u21 level for quite a few years now as part of Ray Clemence's goalkeeping staff.

He still lives in Tamworth, and on the same estate as Louie Donowa (you show your age if you remember Louie!)

I remember Brian Louie Donowa - what a player. Didn't know he went to Deportivo La Coruna before he signed for us..

Didn't he play in the same team as Ricky Otto, Kevin Francis, Clarkson, Ward, Frain, etc?

He did, and he won the fastest player comp while he played for us. Not one of the fastest players, THE fastest player!!! Legend!

Thomas was keeper when i first started comin the blues when i was 7. Always remember how he used to take goal kicks and always end up sliding onto his knee when he did sumhow. Such a strange technique, and he ended up having to have knee surgery cos of bettering it every big kick?!!

Also a typical inconsistent winger. Brilliant one minute (the goal he scored against Orient I think, when he took the ball from the half way line to score) and bad the next (one of the few I can remember who comes on as a sub and then gets subbed himself)

I met him a while back, he's a driver now. True Blue Legend! I can still remember him chipping/lobbing the Albion keeper at The Hawthornes, 92 I think when we won 4-2. What a great goal!!

Louie Donowa now there's a blast from the past.

He was my favourite player in those days. Still have a picture of him on my wall too.

Oh Louie, Louie
Louie, Louie, Louie, Louie Donowa
