just been chatting to my best mate - he is a massive cov fan and a good judge of football

he says they are on fire since old plasticine face took charge and reckons they will give us one hell of a tough game on sunday

we will need to be at our best a la derby to beat them i reckon !!

lets hope we do otherwise im in for some serious stick

Coventry City are unbeaten in the six matches since Dowie replaced Micky Adams at the helm last month and they have taken 14 points from a possible 18 during that time.

Too true mate.

Just shows the difference a good manager can make, with Cole probably making his debut I can still see us winning this one, Cov haven't suddenly turned into an amazing team, Dowie has just got them doing the basics and made them hard to beat, tough game but a home win me thinks. :lager:

work with two of them both good lads, one is their chief steward as well. Both say 6 weeks ago it would have been no contest no matter how bad blues played but feel that at least now they will give us a good game.....i will settle for a good game but we have to win our home games minimum.....

work in cov and everyone is saying they are playing really well... however they still think we will be too strong for them and are worried about the impact cole will have!!

Their away form is still !"£$ though.

4 of those wins came at the Ricoh - which I drove past the other day and it looked nice - they got 2 draws, Plymouth and Colchester I think.

Any improvement on Mickeh Adams is a welcome relief for them, i think they may be getting a little over excited :copno:

2 draws away isn't bad ;)

Not terrible I agree - but all this 'they have taken 14 out of 18 points' in isolation masks the away form IMO. **thumbup

Norwich 1-1 & Colchester 0-0 ( who have only lost 3 at home all season, whilst winning 12 - same as us).

A team on form imo and could be a banana skin if we go into it with a 1-0 in mind.

two draws at those places is better than we managed !!

for me it is our toughest home game left and IMO we need to win all of them
