Real will pay £4.3 million / 7 million Euro and Marcelo will sign a 7 year contract (until 2013). Joined Real Madrid in the January Transfer window 2007..

Didn't we give him to Walsall years ago? He can't be still around. He'd be older then Andy Cole oops I mean Teddy Sheringham.

Marcelo had the finest hair ever to grace the pitch, He was the man we threw on when we were losing or needed to win, Granted we normally lost but what a joy he was to watch

It's all about Tresor Luntala and Tony Hey for me. Proper exotic foreign football types.

MARCELO CIPRIANO - Centre forward, joined us from Sheffield United for £500k in October 1999 and left us for Walsall in 2002. Scored 24 in 77 appearances.

A Portuguese national of Brazilian birth he made his name at Benfica where he finished the club's top scorer for two seasons running. Never really secured a regular place in the Blues side under TF but always worked hard.

I doubt he will be coming back as he's now 38.

MARCELO CIPRIANO

I thought that was the real name of Madonna? (Not Maradonna!)
Blimey....
If we signed Madonna the fans could all wear cones on their chests

That was supposed to read - could be a whole new thread, who had the biggest / best hair - Tarantini must be up there in the running together with lots of dodgy hair dos from the 1970's.
