hey everyone,

now that Sam Allardyce has left bolton due to not getting any money to spend i think its a big coincidence that he quit soon after we were guaranteed promotion to the premeirship. do you think maybe the board will sack bruce now and get sam in.

just a thought **thumbup

oh and cant wait to be watching premiership action again. :banner: :banner:

I think Bruce has now earned his right to another crack at the Premiership, Big sam will probably go to Man city, Newcastle or maybe a club abroad, some one is getting a quality manager either way.

I can't see any way the board can get rid of Brucie now. I mean come on he's done the biz. I've said it before and I will say it again he had rotten luck last season with injuries. But, we need to spend and spend big we need players for the future not has -beens. Anyway if we were all that good why aren't we managing football teams?

spot on, sure he's made mistakes and i for one wanted him gone, but i said all along that if Steve got us up then he deserves, infact we owe him big time another crack.

I thought Allardyce was being spoken of in connection with Manchester City?
Anyway, unless Blues have an appalling start to the season, I'd imagine Bruce's job is safe.....

For me it would be a dream if we could get Big Sam in to work with Bruce, god knows how this could work but it really would be worth looking at. imo of course

I smell bung pie in all this....a very weird time to suddenly down tools and run.

(Sam, the day after Panorama: "Scandalous accusations...it's over to my lawyers to instigate legal action!" hmmm, er...er...still waiting Sam.)

. No chance… I thought that SB might leave in the summer no matter what… but everything I have heard since Saturday has made me change my mind!! SB deserves another shot at the big time! Lets hope the board deliver the cash and he spends it wisely…

Allardyce and the board agreed that he would leave...months ago.
Which means that they have a candidate already lined up by now.
When it leaked on Friday - they admitted it and brought it forward.

Ransom and the Man City bid only happened in the last four weeks.

I've seen stranger things than a gruff northerner at Real Madrid. With his science sports/technology/training, with his club organising and low-cost development, he would be a boon at any major club.

Is it possible to have 2 first team managers at a club? Not a Main and an Assistant but like 2 main managers?

Well aside from that fact, if i hadn't heard anythin that sadly bornblues64 isn't intelligent enough to work out why i cant say, i would still be saying no chance tbh!!

I don't know for a fact reasons why he's left Bolton. Maybe it is partly bungs thing, maybe it is arguments over not enough funds available etc. But if i were him, the main reason would be that he has been overlooked as England manager, mainly because he's been at a 'small' club. His reputation is as good as ever leaving Bolton in fifth place and even if he isnt to take a job straight away, he would wait for a big club. All of this is my opinion of course, just to tick bb64's boxes!!

Sorry to disappoint but Allardyce's destination after Bolton is already decided. Not saying it is Man City or it isn't, but it's defo not us. And no, i cant tell you where for certain reasons!

Even if i hadnt been told, he would never come to Blues straight after Bruce got sacked. They're best mates, i was even sat with Allardyce in the Blues end in the play-off final (purely by chance by the way, i wasn't hob knobbin in a box eating prawn sandwichs!)

Your words Brumjaep, your words.

Oh and keep your comments about people being unintelligent to yourself eh.

I don't know, but if your son was born or brought up in Birmingham there is a fair chance he is a brummie.

Hope this helps :drink:
