Thats pretty old news, imo if Muamba is allowed to leave Arsenal there is only one place he will be going, and that is to the Mighty BLUES.......

d, cisse has been linked with a £3.5 million deal with man city.
i think he would be a cult hero at st andrews with his work rate. regular first team football i think would get us 15 to 20 goals.

If Fulham get relegated (every possibility) I'd like to see us go for Jimmy Bullard. He's been injured all season so has been somewhat forgotten, but he's just the kind of player that will be needed in our 'consolidation' season. feed.back

We don't want Scharner. He rejected us once, he can stick a career at us up his @rse IMO

Same boat as Bellamy

KRO :banner:

Wrong!1 he wanted to sign but the board being the board wanted to pay £2.50 a week, Wigan offered the transfer fee up front.

I'd have him like a shot very good player and scores to

There are the players there to go out and get its just getting the right ones which is Bruces job and hopefully he succeeds in doing that.
I think a few of the signings could well depend on the teams that end up going down but we will see there is 3 months to sign the 5/6 players that i think are needed.

Your forgetting how much money was invested into our promotion push. The Cameron Jeromes, Rowan Vines and Gary McSheffrey's didnt come cheap, to think the board will rustle their fingers in the magic hat and pull out another 20 odd million is ludicrous. Yes, we do need to strengthen our squad, but then, one has to ask how much strenthening ws achieved by the last swarray into the transfer market. The books need to be balanced, and we cant simply afford to toss our tu'pences left, right and centre, then theres the 'continuity' factor. If too many chefs spoil the broth, then a surely, a king's ransom of new faces would sour the search for premiership survival? The squad we have is not strong enough, nor is the starting 11, we do need to invest but on the basis of priority first. We need a right-winger, and a left back more than anything. The centre of defence is a hot-potato and will need attention, and i feel that these are the 3 areas our attention should focus on first and foremost.

Amidst the madness, there is some rationality, our attention shoudl fall on those side to whom Damacles' sword swung a little too low! Watford havent much to offer, and all of England's vultures will swoop on Upton Park, if Anne Boleyn's Commadors capitulate. But what remains of their carcass, could prove an appetising meal for scavenging Hyeenas. Charlton and Wigan too, could offer a little. Its imperative that we focus our efforts on building a side to last seasons, as opposed to one!

Can someone please tell me why we would want to sign players from teams that have been relegated. If they have been relegated surely that must say something about thier ability to sustain it with the big boys.

So if West Ham go down you would'nt want Blues to sign Tevez.
