Very satisfying to see the analysis of the Liverpool goal. Kuyt shoving Mikel out of the way to give Agger a clear run. Remember Terry doing the same to Tiny when they scored from a corner. There is some justice in the world - though I would prefer it if no one fouled off the ball at corners. |

Just goes to prove that money cannot buy you success, to be honest the game i have seen Chelsea in this year they are very very ordinary long hoof to Drogba seems to be there only tactic for me it disproves the theory that Mourinho is a great manager, very very ordinary, Europe must be poor this year if those two sides last night is anything to go by. Certainly gives me hope for Blues next season :banner: |

Chelsea play a lot better with two strikers. Drogba excels when he plays with a partner up front. Sheva, Kezman, Crespo... he plays best for Chelsea when he was partnered by one of those guys and not the only forward in the 4-5-1 formation they try to claim is 4-3-3. They might as well have not had a midfield yesterday though, they must've learnt to play the long ball all night from Bolton at the weekend. |

i think Chelsea have lost their way a bit. Muriniho, i didn't like the guy at first seems to be caught between playing players who obviously have realised since coming to Chelsea that they can't command a first team spot and spending even more money. Chelsea were fantastic last season so anything else was always going to be a come down, Liverpool for me last night were brilliant, Bentiez had his tactics spot on, Chelsea seemed to think that Lampards pile drivers would give them something, and there use of the long ball to the edge of the Liverpool area was pathetic to say the least, Carragher was in his element!! Carragher is a Player i admire a lot. i would like Man Utd to win it, purely on the basis we saw a Liverpool win a few seasons ago...who knows eh, Milan might blow them all away. |

Start of the Championship season I said Sunderland would finish top, Brum 2nd and Southampton through the play offs. I also said an Italian side (perhaps Inter or AC Milan) would win the CL and once the draw was made for the CL knock out rounds I said it'd be a Liverpool/Milan final. I don't know what happened seeing as my predictions are usually way off  I hope Man Utd win/draw but I can't see it happening. Not with Gattuso back in the Milan side. |

Only if your name is Jaidi, you play for Blues you get a penalty given against you. |

Chelsea's attacking tactics were rubbish i'm severely annoyed that Liverpool have made another 'Champions' League final without ever coming close to winning the Premier League |

They should change the name of the Champions League. That way there'd be less complaints. The UEFA Cup is boring as.... The smaller countries would get hammered in every game if they were in the Champions League. Look at Olympiakos, Anderlecht, FC Basel etc. How far do these teams ever get in the CL? Hardly ever out of the bottom 2 of their respective groups. I am against introducing more of these "filler" teams. They hardly ever make for interesting games when they play each other and barring a miracle or 10+ years of solid over-achieving in the biggest club footballing stage, I can't see it doing any of them any good. Just leave them in the UEFA cup and let the big boys play on the big boy stage. |

Ditch the CL in it's current format and run it with the top two teams from each qualifying league being entered at various stages. Disolve the UEFA cup back into Cup Winners Cup for the teams that win a cup and the UEFA for the 3rd and 4th placed teams that no longer make the CL. You can then either increase the UEFA cup to bring in 5 and 6th or leave the UEFA cup at a decent size. Lets stop playing games in Europe every w2eek and allow clubs to strengthen the domestic leagues they come from. I really do miss the Cup Winners Cup. |

I wasnt around for the CWC but I quite like the format the CL is in. 8 groups and then knockout stages makes it really interesting. I don't understand all the cries for making the CL just for the teams who win or come 2nd of their domestic leagues. They can't seriously hope that teams like Dynamo Kiev or Levski Sofia play more regularly in the biggest cup competition. If that did happen, can you imagine the outcry from the English fans if players like Gerrard or Rooney or Terry got injured playing against part timers who won the Norweigan league etc. The people who make this claim are usually the ones that want teams like Andorra and Macedonia banned from entering the European Championships at the same stage as England or higher seeded teams because they ruin it... |

That's the way it is though. How many teams who've made the final of the Champions League actually won their respective leagues? Not too many. |
