Today Bruce played a decent team i thought, and made substitutions when they were needed. However, the players had the chances, couldnt be bothered to take them. Our top scorer misses 2 sitters whilst i thought out best player was Bendtner, did well, and even helped back in defence a few times. I have been pro-Nafti is recent months but today he was awful, he was passing the ball straight to their players, and looked like he hadn't played a game of football in his life KRO :banner: |

This does sound bad but i can't be happy with promotion when we rolled over and gave up the league title. You play the game to win the medals and the trophies and not to finish in second place. On a performance like that i would make sure that wholesale changes are made in the summer hols. I'm really disapointed and upset at giving it to Sunderland. |

Disapointing for us, takes the gloss of the celebration. Poor performance but we still had 4/5 glaring opportunities to win the game despite an average end of season performance. The title was there to be won and we should have had no greater motivation to beat preston for obvious reasons. It's not the end of the world tbh the league title is no massive achievement but it would have been nice. Hopefully we can build to our squad in the summer now, I suspect Bruce knows what we have and what we need, but if today taught us anything, it's the lack of a creative midfielder and a goalscorer. Nice to see DJ back him, Laarson and Bendtner were proberly our best players today. Also fair play to Sunderland finishing 2nd behind them is nothing to be ashamed about there a good team with a good manager. Just ashame were going to have to play 2nd fiddle to them now having lost the Championship to them, although we proberly would still have been had we won it anyway ;) |

..... but yet another pathetic refereeing decision costs us. How did D'Urso fail to award our penalty. But also how many chances does McSheffers need to score ? Not good enough. Finally, DJ Campbell tries and gives his all but is not Premiership Standard. |

< < How can you say that?? Im sorry but we dont get many chances to win trophies, and we just rolled over and let them win it. Considering its not much of an achievement the Sunderland players were jumping about like mad throwing champagne about. wtf** KRO :banner: |

Plenty of chances but absolutely diabolical finishing. Needs to be sorted as soon as possible if we're to finish next season with more points than Watford did. |

I'm disappointed, but not too disappointed. Although Preston had their chances, we had enough to have had them dead and buried. How did McSheffrey and Jaidi miss their chances? Oh well, on to next season now. **thumbup |

The caller on Sky said SB gave the players the bulk of the week off, we only trained from Thursday on. Why ? |

Im Shocked, Dissappointed, and Angry about the way we played. Well Done to Bendtner and Larsson, who looked like they wanted to win the game. Nafti and McSheffrey, remember what we were paying for today < < |

I'm sorry that's just a flag of convenience. Were were poor from start to finish. You find winners at the Stadium of Light and bottlers at St Andrews. Just not good enough I'm afraid. Jackoblue |

Without trying to give a lecture, this isn't the sort of attitude we need going into the PL. We've won promotion, which is what we set out to do. It was never going to be easy but fair play to Bruce and the players for doing it. Going into the new season with still doubts and moans about Bruce will do no good and it seems to me your always trying to stir it up no matter what the result. Tbh, I think the players have to take more responsibility than Bruce today, at the end of the day they wear the shirt and it was their job to turn up today. They treated it more like a training match which is disappointing because even though we were up already, the fans always want to see a bit of desire. |

Move over Tom Ross. Who said men can't multi-task? Three cheers for Jackoblue. The best running commentary I've read and followed all season Jacko for the Radio, Jacko for Stadium announcer, Jacko for Chief Sports writer. Thankyou my friend, excellent work.  |

there have been a number of occasions this season when we have not 'bottled' it in my recignition jacko. Last Saturday for example, down to 10 men, needing a win against a team that were flying, did we bottle it then? Let it drop ffs your depression catches on mate. |

Well I feel really dissapointed and let down. You see the Baggies and Sunderland scoring a hatful and half of our team looked like they were already thinking of their holidays. Major signings needed. |

We bottled it when it mattered. Its like an F1 race, you go around in 1st place, doing really well, then just slowing down at the end and letting 2nd overtake you and you saying oh well, im on the podium |

I'm sorry pal but there are still alot of Blues fans who still have there doubts about Bruce. I hear that that he will give the majority of the squad a chance in the Premiership. Good on him and the players for getting promotion but for petes sake dont be complacent again Steve because it will all end in tears. |
