Thought you'd like to know that when I passed PNE's ground last Monday there were quite a few Sunderland fans ( in their red/white shirts ) buying tickets for the game. Apparently Sunderland fans couldn't get tickets for Luton so they are coming to support Preston.
Reminds me of that game years ago when we played Leyton Orient to get promotion and Millwall could get it if we lost so one side of the ground was Blues, one side was Millwall and there were about 300 O's fans somewhere in between.

Somewhat surprising as when I went to PNE this week they wouldnt sell to me despite having a Manchester address because I was a first time buyer not therefore registered on their computer!

if i remember the same game ,it was a mid-week fixture, and at the end there was a bomb scare or something and loads of noses went across the pitch to help the o`s fans get on the pitch and use all the exits feed.back
