Firstly, let me set the scene. I'm 40 this year and been a bluenose since the age of 6. For the past 18 years I have lived in exile, in Barry, South Wales. Since leaving school I have always worked Saturdays and I am the proud father of 4 kids, so as you can imagine, getting back up to see the Blues is a rarety. In fact this season I have only managed 1 game.

The point I'm trying to make boils down to - Once a Blue, Always a Blue. Don't anyone try and tell me that because you've not missed one game in the past whatever, you're more of a bluenose than me - because you're NOT!.

Anyway, last Sunday was a beautiful day and we were having a BBQ and a couple of drinks. When the kids ran out to tell me that Mozza had put Palace 1-0 up, for some reason the alcohol consumption seemed to speed up. 1 for me and 1 for Mozza (cheers mate). Things were looking good. A couple more beers later, the kids ran out again - Palace 2-0 up, 1 for me and 1 for Kennedy (cheers mate).

As you can imagine, by the full time score the sense of euphoria mixed with the amount of alcohol made for quite an experience.

Yes, I know i messed up KRO but, do you know what, I really dont care, cause at the time it was the sweetest song, and I had to let it all out.

It certainly looks as if you had a good day. How many beers? :D

I agree entirely that attendance at matches does not make anybody a better Blue Nose, because some people are unable to attend, for a variety of reasons, such as financial, where they live or demands of the job.

Once a Blue Nose always a Blue Nose. :banner:

Let's hope you have even more to celebrate today. **thumbup

Can I just say - it's always advisable to take the washing off the line when you're having a barbecue. The smoke makes the clothes smell. ;)

:LMAO: :LMAO:

Joking aside - fair play to you. :applause:

Well done Bluegreek.

I was in Lego land with my friend and the kids last Sunday. My mate sent me a text saying 2-0 and I started bouncing about like a banshee!!! LOL I just went mad! My mate turned round and said "they're up then" and carried on watching a lego display! LMAO

Sooooo glad nobody put that on youtube!! LOL

Well done bluegreek, glad you had a great day and a few beers for the boys.

Attendance at games does not equate to a better fan. You only have to hear some of the moaning and the abuse aimed at our own players to realise that. Some times it'd be better if some of them did stay away.

I'm sitting here at home, rubbish weekend, got the 'flu, lost the championship, read all the moans on here for Bruce out, feel totally demoralised and peed off.

Then, I watched this - cheered me up no end! KRO mate. :)

I had a few to many :lager: :lager: yesterday instead of last Sunday.
Started drinking in the pub at 12 I cant remember anything in the pub past about 7/8 when I started on 'double vodkas and a mixer', all I remember after that was going for a curry and getting home about 12ish in which I tried to use the computer but it wasnt going to work because I couldnt focus on the words so reading just wasnt going to happen.
Also ended up topless dancing in the pub a couple of times, that is the 2 times I remember and I put my Blues shirt on inside and only realised half way through being in the curry house, why didnt the people that I was with tell me that it was inside out?? wtf**
But hey we dont get promoted every week, thank god!! :LMAO:
It hurts today, though, bit of a hangover.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys and gals. This could just spur me on to do more in the future, when the Blues give me reason to - perhaps when we beat the vile next season in the premiership ;)

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
