I'm very pleased we got promoted but i still see the same failings in the team. we never seem as tough mentally as other teams. sunderland have single mindedly almost Man Utd like gone onto thrash almost everyone in the league and get the trophy. time and time again we've had it in our hands and time and time again, the players have let teams beat them. In all honesty we should have beat Preston today. Mcsheffrey had at least three chances, Jaidi had a glorious chance. I don't feel Bendtner will get a chance next season with Arsenal, he isn't a team minded player, he tries to take on one to many players. also when is Steve going to tell the players at the back that when your in possession of the ball, why keep booting the ball up field, ineffect making the ball 50/50/ time and time today i saw players just booting out aimlessly out of defence...this drives me insane, you hardly ever see the big teams do this, Liverpool man utd and Arsenal.... all try and play it out. Its easy to do, it's called Passing a football. |

thats my only worry with brucie ,he seems to have just one plan on how to play,it was there again today ,keep it tight and nick something on the break, personally i hate this type of football,i prefer pass and move with pace, like man u play, we played into prestons hands and invited them to attack us, |

Am i the only one who saw an attacking line-up by bruce in the final third of the game?! Yes we lost & i am bitterly dissapointed but lets look at the bigger picture here, we are a premiership team again!! And i am sorry to but to play the way Man U do you need to spend like Man U, and the reported 60m promotion will bring us will help do exactly that!! Well done Sunderland, well done bruce, well done the fans & more importantly well done every blues player that helped us reach the promised land. It sucks coming 2nd but it sucks more not being promoted & not getting the money that brings. |

you can play the united way in sunday league, its just a system of play, yes to be a really top team you have to have top players, but any team can play an attacking system. |
