After seeing a couple of opinions/posts on here today i want to show how i personally feel and see what everyone else thinks.
1)Runners Up. That we are. Im a great believer in the old "2nd is the first loser" saying, but im also a great believer in looking foward (just like the motto on the Birmingham coat of arms) to things in the future. Is that such a bad thing? Is trying to look at how we can build on previous mistakes to be better in the future wrong? I dont think so. Are we wrong to celebtate outside the town hall for coming 2nd, and showing all these young, hungry players that we want to do well in the future, and to show them that, yes, were "only" 2nd but were up for more of the same? No
2) Steve Bruce. He is not Jose Mourhino, Matt Busby or Bill Shankley. Far from it. I honestly dont think he is the be all and end all of Blues, and im not convinced that he the key to our future. But to be fair to the bloke he's got us back up after taking us down.Yes he's spent money, but he's done the job has nt he. Derby, Wolves and preston have nt spent much. West Brom have kept half of there Premier League team. Southampton have sold a couple/bought a couple, but remember, WERE UP......THERE NOT!!! Ive made plenty of mistakes in my life, but i dont expect to be caned for the rest of my life for them, and i also expect to be given a 2nd chance.
3) Were the Blues. Ranked on ALL results of english league, cup and europeon football games, were the 24th best team in England. According to those stats were ranked lower than Wolves, west brom, preston, derby, sheff weds and Leeds. So we can only get better than them, strive for success and improve. Will we do it by slagging off managers/ players/ board members etc , or by giving everything we can for the club? Its a long long road, joys and sorrows, when your tired and weary......we sing these words every week, so remember anyone its not gonna be an easy ride, far from it, but when we do get to that happy Abode it'll be worth it, and if gettin to the premier league is nt a good enough start for you, go and buy a new Man U / Chelsea / Liverpool shirt and jump on their bus, But im stayin with the team where im from because id rather cry because my local teams losing than celebrate some hotshot team that i only support because there sponsored by nike.
What im tryin to say in all of this is lets stick together, celebrate our achievements, whatever they are, and most of all BE POSITIVE, because if we dont, we ll be stuck in this yo yo situation forever.
KEEP RIGHT ON.

Agree entirely. Baggies may be ecstatic tonight at 7-0 pasting of Barnsley, but would rather be us ie already promoted. A great achievement to bounce back after first season, it is a hard league to get out of and we should celebrate that. Too many glory hunters around, there is no point in supporting Blues if you can't take the sorrrows as well as the joys.

Well done, Blues. Ignore these sad pessimists. Congratulations on promotion. Now go and show these doom and gloom merchants what you can do.

http://www.aboutaball.co.uk/html2/rankings/ranking.php..... it seems to be the best ranking table for straight win/draw/loses.
