1. Having cover in virtually every position.

Even with Sadler and Schmitz out we will be starting with 4 decent defenders at the back all playing in their natural positions.

It makes a change from having midfielders out of position.

2. Numerous attacking options.

There is no way I can see us reliant on one attacking (i.e. Free Kicks Corners) option this year.

Can't wait for Wednesday - I'm off to pick my ST up this afternoon! :drink:

What pleases me the most is that the squad seems to have retained the same spirit and unity that dragged them through the back end of last season, whilst adding in players of definite quality. It was spirit and togetherness that got them up, and that will go a long way towards helping to keep them up. These lads look as if they'd run through walls for each other. And I like that.

All Bruce needs to do on Sunday is tell them to go out and show Hossam Ghaly what's what, and shove his criticisms of the standard of our players up his backside.

well being a bit biased the major thing that pleases me is Mikael's pre-season form.

Yes I know its against lowly German teams and Walsall but still, he is a confidence player, and with him scoring some goals, hopefully he can fire some more in for us.
