Blues - Sunderland

4-4-2:

.......................................Doyle.............................................

......Kelly.............Djourou.............Ridgewell.........Quedrue.......

......De Ridder............Kapo.............Muamba..........McSheffrey.....

............................Forssell........O'Connor...................................

Subs
M Taylor
Jaidi
Larsson
Nafti
Jerome
We'll beat them:
Blues 2 - 0 Sunderland
:banner:

I agree on that formation although Jerome should start instead of O'Connor, and I'm going to say 3-0. De Ridder will annihilate them on the right wing, on Wednesday.

No the reason they won was because Tottenham were extremely poor

So you expected the ninety third minute winning goal from the vastly superior and technical Sunderland....

Based on your approach we may just as well not turn up on Wednesday or if we do we can just sit there and wait for it all to happen.... :banghead:

I don't think Spurs were bad, their strikers were awful but probably because of Sunderland's resolute defending. Their heading away was poor but overall were very good. Upfront S'land weren't anything special but probably caused more problems than the likes of Berbatov could muster.

Erm, there's noithing you can do to change people opinions mate and tbf Spurs were awful today. It was a really poor match to watch and Sunderland were lucky to scrape a goal at the end. Fair play to them they never stopped but Sunderland don't have anything that Blues don't and they don't particualry worry me.

I'm already fed up of all the hype surrounding them, there was barely a mention of spurs on Sky today it was all Sunderland, and Tottenham are a big London club ffs. I'd like Sunderland to stay up so long as its not in place for us, but all the fuss is becoming a little bit boring now imo.

The reason Sunderland beat Spurs was the twelth man....

No the reason they won was because Tottenham were extremely poor

:Blues: I agree with that but I also think Sunderland dragged the game down to their level, it reminded me of a cup match Prem against champ/Div1 where the prem side did not seem to get out of 1st gear and the other side ran for all their worth.

Loads of guts and running and little skill will not keep sunderland up.
