Great news, David Gold is a Bluenose, I am sure he would love to own the club himself if circumstances were right. http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/sport/footba...98487-19613948/ |

David Gold says he'll not be booted out of Birmingham as Ken Bates was at Chelsea. Blues chairman Gold plans to stay on and run the football side of the club once he's sold out to Hong Kong billionaire Carson Yeung - just as Bates thought he would when Roman Abramovich moved into Stamford Bridge. Yeung has paid £15million for 29 per cent of the newly-promoted Premiership club and intends to make a complete takeover. Advertisement Gold said: "There's a big difference between Ken Bates and David Gold - I mean, who would want Ken Bates around anyway? "Maybe those at Chelsea felt they would go one way but, having got to know Ken Bates, they changed their minds and moved on. "I don't think that will be the case with me - I would be very content to carry on and help continue the work we have done over the last 15 years because I think it's important to keep continuity. "I've met these people and I feel they are serious football people and have the best interests of the club at heart." |

Sorry David, but they won't want someone saying "You don't want to do it like that. You want to do it like this". Furthermore as top of your organisations I can't imagine you being comfortable being subservient to someone else. |
