The first one I can just about forgive, but the second one was utterly pathetic. Here comes Drogba :( |

Anyone notice for the Essien goal, Quedrue made a pathetic attempt at a clearance, then turned his back on the shot from Essien? Pathetic keeping aswell, thats regulation, it's proberly catchable let alone not being able to stop it. I've never been impressed with Doyle, the media hyped him up after our game with Wolves but he has been ordinary before and after that imo. |

i know we are basically being run ragged -- but 2 of the goals were very stoppable, and have to go down as poor goalkeeping. |

Let's go 4-4-2 we've got nothing to loose now, get Jerome/O'Connor and deRidder on. |

Don't think I'd have felt so nervous with our defence if Tiny was playing today. But must say I think Ridgewell has done well today...........keep the lad as captian as well Nafti is a must to go out of the side so is Doyle unfortunatly, this level maybe too much too soon for him |

Feel sorry for Forssell, he's had no service and is basically a spectator. |

Will say now even though there is a few minutes left of the game, That evenb though we may end up losing this game now, we can take a lot out of it in a postitive way. The defence yes looks shaky now, but given time hopefully will come good, Upfront The Forse looked sharp and hopefully fully fir and injury free And with Kapo, I can see here a big fans favourite here |

Well played lads, if it weren't for keeping errors we may have even won it. Overall heartened, but disappointed with Doyle. |

Doyle let us down today but there'll be games this season when he saves us and wins us points so I hope we just get behind the kid now. Really, really, really proud of the lads today, they did us proud no doubt. We're gonna be fine this season. Love Kapo-W |

I think everyone seems to think that we are equal to them, if you look at the transfer fees spent I think 3-2 away from home is a damn good result even if we were completely bossed around. Malouda - £15 million vs Kapo - £1.3 million Who scored the better goal? ;) |

I was very disappointed with the way we constantly gave the ball away, especially when we were going foward. We showed no imagination and never allowed our defence a breather. Doyle goes without saying, Quedrue and Djorou looked well out of sorts. Larsson was invisible. A lot of work to be done in my opinion, although Jerome looked lively when he came on, as did De Ridder. |

Disappointing to end with but there are plenty of positives to take. It's hard to judge playing Chelsea away opening day and the real test comes Wednesday night. However, Quedrue looked totally of the pace, not just fitness wise, but he just didn't look a Premiership full back today. His positional sense and decision making was appaling at times. It begs the question if he's not good enough for Boro or Fulham why is he good enough for us? I thought Kapo and Forssell looked very good, linked up well and both got on the scoresheet. ridgewell and Djourou settled after the first 10 minutes or so and I thought Kelly did well. Nafti just doesn't know how to keep the ball. Sure he tackles hard and I'm sure he'll do a job as a squad player this season, but we have Muamba in there, we don't need Nafti playing alongside him. The most disappointing aspect for me was the 2 goals conceeded. I've no problem with conceedin against Chelsea but Doyle made 2 luthargic attempts at 2 regulation saves. I've always had question marks against hi, he had 1 decent game for us last season but he scared the !"£$ out of me on most other occasions. Hopefully Saddler will be back for Wednesday and maybe we can play a 4-4-2 with Kapo playing somewhere in midfield? |

I'm chuffed with the team to be honest from what I've seen today. The defence will get much better when they've had plenty of games together. Kapo looks like the signing of the season, Forssell looks back to near his best, we've got De Ridder to come and Muamba looked like he's going to take the Premiership in his stride. Come on! |
