Gee, I thought Djourou was quite good after the first few minutes. And Ridgewell was just fantastic. |

You can read too much into statistics Aussie. I genuinely thought we were rubbish, except for one very good goal. |

Doyle had a bad game. But lets not crucify him. Queudrue and Nafti made loads of mistakes. The difference is that their mistakes didn't cost us goals. Doyles did. |

I thought we played very well at times, poor at others, poor performance from Doyle, KAPO - SUPERB and MOM, good result though, shame we couldn't hold out for a draw. I think we have had lots of praise from the sky presenters and it was great to have Daz Porter back on fanzone. |

We gave as good as we got today, well done boys **thumbup The one big problem is the centre of midfield, Nafti is not good enough i'm sorry and we need to look for someone who can, when in possession push on and pass to a Blue shirt. Huge game on Wednesday, let's raise the roof because we need to win. Keep Right On |

:Blues: Good Game of footy Goalie What a bad hair day he had Defence is a group individuals they will need to gel quickly. Midfield Muamba where are you, Nafti only played part of the game the rest were good. Attack Forse looking good Kapo a bit of class I think we have the makings of something special On an England Plus SWP is looking really good if you give him space. |

good result, too early to say how were going to do, although Doyle looked out of his depth and Nafti.... i'm sorry but he just isn't premiership(kept giving the ball away). Forssell i thought was good in the first half but faded and i thought Steve maybe should have brought De Ridder on earlier. Kapo's goal was superb, thought Ridgewell did well. 3-2 down there isn't a disgrace by any stretch of the imagination. Just hope we can be a bit more solid against Sunderland. |

On BRMB they recon Nafti was one of the best, him and Muamba with Kapo infront and Ridgwell and Djourou was a winning combination. Some of his passes were pretty bad but when it came to defending he did his job. |

Crying out loud people, we've just run one of the best sides in Europe very, very close and all some of you can do is slag off half the team? Yes there were some nerves, and yes the defence looked as if they hadn't worked together for long, but that's because we have a lot of young lads and, unsurprisingly, the defence hadn't worked together for long. The positives from that display far, far outweigh the negatives. We've been to one of the best sides in Europe and stuck two in, Forssell looked fit and came through 90 minutes without trouble, Muamba showed he can play at this level and made Lampard look incredibly ordinary, and Kapo looks set to be an absolute star. Colin made two errors and nobody will know that more than him. But to say he's abysmal and we need to get rid is sign of a hideously short memory. He was brilliant at the back end of last season and he will be again. |

Sounded like a really good game We scored twice away from home against a team that doesn't concede an awful lot. Yes they were missing the ugly oaf JT but Charvallio and Haim are both first team players. I'm sure Doyle will settle and i expect him to do so. He won't and shouldn't be dropped for one bad game. If you look at it another way we were expected to be beaten. I'm sure SB had todays game down as a possible draw at best. We've played Chelsea away from home lost but in fact only lost 1-0 when it comes to goal difference. If Goal difference is play a part at the end of the season this might be a result in our favour. We were never really expected to win but a real positive is that we went out and tried to win it. Roll on Royderland on Wednesday. |

How can you say we were rubbish, we took it up to a team that only conceeded 11 goals last season and we deserved a draw at a minimum. Were it not for poor keeping we could have won this game. We will take a lot of heart from the game, we will improve further; the last thing anyone can call us is "rubbish". I'm so proud of the Blues, proud of the team and excited for Sunderland now. |

Thats just the point, we had Muamba who can do that job so playing Nafti was pointless. Point taken it was against Chelsea so its forgivable, but he just doesn't give us anything different to what we have. He was notone of the best, having watched the game he tried hard and put a few good tackles in and fair play to him, but his ball retention was non existant. |

i know its abit harsh, but this performance was all down to doyley, he screwed up the firt goal, trrible diving, then the 3rd goal was easily savable! What a fool! A wretched fool i tell you!!! |

Well, what can you say. At half time, I'm thinking lets just defend like tigers and keep the ball as much as possible for the first 15....within 4 minutes we've conceded again through an absolutely needless goal. I know Franscar is saying people are reading into it, but mate, people have the right to comment on him today....he has had probably his worse game for us. OK....Lets talk positives. I thought Kapo showed signs, and against one of the best teams in the world too. Although I wasn't happy with some of his closing down work. Forssells touch and quick feet were brilliant. Muamba is definately going to have a big season. Lets not forget, that this back line as well, is the first time they've played together. But we will have to defend better than that. Big question now is will Doyles confidence be shattered? Will Bruce stick with him or go with experience? |

Not many, I'll give you that. But that was a pretty poor Chelsea performance today, if we could have distributed the ball better I'm sure we could have got something out of it. But we just kept giving the ball away, you can't do that at this level. |

I agree with you about Doyle but this is what forums are for. I believe we will be alright as long as we get another central midfielder. Now i'm not saying a creative gung-ho midfielder but someone who is confident when on the ball and is positive and foward thinking. Maybe someone like Gary O'Neil from Portsmouth could be the player but what do i know. Nafti gave the ball away 10 times, thats not good enough who ever your playing against. |

:Blues: We have got to stick with him. we all know how good he can be and consistently as shown last season, we are all human and prone to a bad day at the office at times and Doyley has had his. |

I also want to make a comment about Nafti. There were two challenges he put in today that on another day would have received two red cards. Twice he went in with both feet and studs showing. Yes, he won the ball on both occasions, but it did show a downside to him. I'm not a fan of Nafti, and I never will be. His passing is poor, his tackling is dodgy, and as an forward thinking player, is negligble. Also I thought Larsson worked extremely hard, but not once did he attempt to beat a full abck. Not once. |

forssell looked sharp when in front of goal - just quiet at other times but kept the play going. kapo scored an amazing goal and got some good crosses in. good link up play too with the other left sided players. some good defending too. larsson looked abit tired but managed to keep possesion most of the time and bring the play forward. nafti kept losing possesion with passes that were not very good but made some really good tackles. muamba made some good tackles and some good passes. but quiet most of the game. mcsheffrey gave an average performance today. kelly made some good clearances and blocks, good defending from him today. djourou made some vital blocks and tackles but lost the ball a few times. ridgewell was a good captain, good getting forward and good defending. quedrue was very quiet and kept getting caught out by SWP. doyle should have saved pizzaro's and maybe essien's, but made some good saves and catches. de ridder was alright, not much from him. jerome was alright aswell, did get 1 or 2 crosses in. parnaby did some good defening and clearances. but overall it was more than an average performance. blues did battle with a lot of heart, and with quite a good performance today im sure when we play sunderland we should win if the same team plays. |

It was as though the ball was on fire, we couldn't wait to get rid of it. Agree with the commnts about Larsson and Nafti, thought the ref was very lenient with Nafti today. Djorou needs to defend instead of constantly appealing or offside. |
