Truly awful. He better not be a first-choice for the Sunderland match. We were a thousand times more solid with Kelly at left-back and Paranby at right-back...

Should've just paid the money for Koncheskey imo.

Quedrue had a mare, BUT at least he won't be up against SWP every week < <

Is this the new Jesper Gronkjaer bandwagon? Does it give people satisfaction to try and run people out of the club? We were playing the side that came second in the land last season.

Give them all a chance. With a back four that had never played together before, 3 of them making their debut. most of the team and the bench were all new. What did we really expect. I think considering everything we did well. They are going to need quite a few matches to settle in. Queudrue is a quality player.

i think against sunderland i don't mind him playing because he is a good defender on the left. there was just too much defending to do in the centre that made franck get drawn towards that and left the wide position open for SWP to attack. you can't really blame franck because chelsea were good when attacking. if franck had stuck to SWP then chelsea would be doing more attacking in the centre with less defenders to worry about.

He wasn't very good, but he WAS against one of the fastest players in the Premiership. Just hope he can deal with Carlos Edwards if he starts, because he's not exactly slow either.

And Freddie Ljungberg next Saturday

I hope it's just a case of him not being up to speed after missing a full pre-season.

I'd have liked us to have had a free kick just on the edge of the box. He, Kapo, McSheffrey and Larsson would've been fighting over it !

plenty of left backs are gonna have days like that against swp! who was world class today! frank will be better against sunderland as carlos edwards or whoever plays right side will not match the performance that swp had today! even thou carlos edwards is a tricky winger himself but not as good as swp!

He had a similar experience against Oxford.

Loads of space left behind him with the ball being played into it for their right side players to run onto. Against Oxford, Sone Aluko did herioc chasing back to cover him and block the runners as they were ready to shoot or cross.

Time will tell.

where were all these anti-Queudrue people when we signed the bloke?

He had a bad game today, maybe the fact hes not 100% fit, he doesnt know any of our players, oh and the fact he faced an awesome Shaun Wright-Phillips today. He had to play today due to Sadler/Schmitz being injured and no other left backs being available.

Wait for him to settle in and be 100% fit and he'll be fine

Queudrue will be fine. Just give him a chance to settle!

Playing his first game for the team against Shaun Wright Phillips is very daunting.

summed up nicely ,
did we expect them all to be on top of their game then.

I have to say he was poor today but also I feel Mcsheff has to take some of the blame to i mean SWP had a free run down that side so many times even to the point bruce put Kapo out there. Queudure will be fine once settled in i think he will be a great player for us. Plus have got to say what a great sight it was to see the Force back fit and doing what we all know he can do, cant wait for the game on Wednesday now!!
