McSheffrey - did he touch the ball in the first half?
Queadrue - out of position gave Wright-Phillips to much space and looked uncomfortable all game
Doyle - should of saved Essiens goal

A spirited performance by Blues. But we definately need a quality midfielder and Forward.

Come on, there's always going to be negatives from games even if they're wins for us. Let everyone say their piece without turning threads into them and us battlegrounds, there's no need for it and we all have the same thing in common of wanting Blues to be successful - some constructive criticism and 'say it like you see it' is to be expected. I bet there's a few negatives on the Chelsea board after their win today - that's football.

Let's improve by identifying our weaker areas and tackling them, while raving about our future star players and let's big-up Blues as a team along the way. There will be things to learn after every game this season.

A big negative for me today was the form of Lampard, what the hell has happened to him lately, anonymous today, he needs a rest.

The only negative today is Doyle and Quedrue. But lets not dwell on our negatives and concentrate on the positives, WE SCORED 2!!

I calcualte that to be about 5 against sunderland.

Considering we had 3 of the 4 defenders having debuts, it was inevitable that one wasn't quite gonna click, but hey-ho, that's football, we'll get there.
Doyle, one bad game in how many? Again, a small negative, but nothing you can do, was really more bad luck, we all have a bad day now and then, he's probably kicking himself hard enough. He's a quality keeper, and if he keeps improving as he has been, I'm more worried about how long we can keep some of the teams in the euro comps from sniffing about, you know how manure are always after quality.

I agree slightly with the McSheffrey thing, didn't quite see enough of the ball in the first half, but looked better second half.

All in all, no real negatives that a little experience won't sort out, well chuffed with today

doyal needs to work on his wrists they were feeble attempts ! two hands on the ball on both occasions, lets hope he dont have a birthday again till next year, i still think he will come good though, KRO! ps two goals at the bridge gives me confidence!!!!
