Sunderland, WHU, M'boro, even the 2nd half against Hereford we have been very poor.

Is this a Bruce out thread?

Well, not exactly, but if Sullivan wants those missing thousands back, something has to be done.

Very, very dissilusioned right now.

our squad has changed alot in the last 2 years and the only person remaining is bruce. we always look shaky in our performances, and we're always getting away with it (in games we have to win).

bruce out.

We won't if that performance is any thing to go on!
Don't get me wrong, only listened to Tom Ross, & he always sort of blows every thing out of proportion, but it sounded like there was a few not pulling their wieght today. Jiadi sounded like he had a right night mare.

Now this may come as a shock to some of you doom and gloom merchants, But the fact is we are not going to win every game and were are not always going to play well.

No you forget, we're a big club who should attract the likes of Joe Cole and Jermain Defoe, we should be challenging for the title, any point dropped is a negative. We are the World's greatest club and shouldn't be alowed to lose.

I think everybody can accept that, but to not compete?? Not have a shot?? How come we can give Chelsea a game but not get a sniff at Boro. I can take losing but not to give it a go, come on.

We may not win every game but there is no reason whatsoever for producing the sort of performance that has been witnessed today.

If we're going down then let's fight and not run up the white flag like we did two seasons ago.

It's not as if the board haven't backed Bruce with cash to bring in the players.

Look at how much we spent on McSheffrey. £4m and he did brilliantly at first, but after a while our curse of turning brilliant players into complete bumbling bafoons became apparant.

We have the players to stay up - managers like Steve Coppell have hardly spent anything and make a bunch of Championship class players compete in the Premiership.

If we have a manager who was as tactically astute then we'd be far better off.

We're so boringly predictable - just passing the ball slowly across the field. We have no width and won't run at the opposition's full backs. That's what the fans want to see - not McSheffrey get the ball, play it back to Kelly.....stand still then the ball gets played back to the goalkeeper.

Not good enough.

I'm pretty fed up of Bruce now. Nice man and I'll give him a few more games, but I can't see it changing.

This Board, irrespective of what they might have done when they first arrived here, are now a liability. They have kept a substandard manager and haven't even tried to help him with funds. They have created the worst possible scenario, despite promises that the same mistakes that took us down before wouldn't be repeated.

If we had gone down fighting today, there may just be a crumb of comfort in the defeat. But there is absolutely nothing positive to say about todays performance. We cant even blame the ref, like we did against the Hammers.

The only good news is that hopefully we can soon bid farewell to Sullivan and the rest of the incompetent Board, and hope that Mr Yeung can recognise what needs to be done here. He may not prove to be better - but he can hardly be worse. I hope his first task is to appoint a new manager to replace the tactically lacking Bruce. If he can find a bit of money in January, all the better - although it might already be too late then.

At the moment it is the inept leading the inept. I'm positive that it cant remain like this for much longer.

Board Out. Bruce Out. :redcard:

In my opinion, the board are not to blame for funding and effort - but they are to blame for Steve Bruce still being at the club.

We need a foreign manager with a totally different ethos to Bruce and the current regime.

:applause: I'll second that ????

I really think it's time for change

No we can't win every game and sometimes we won't play play well but we can at least show some pride and effort

The manager we have right now clearly cannot motivate at this level and to keep this blind faith in him merely to save money is totally UNACCEPTABLE

We have missed him in the middle. I'd have him there instead of Nafti and Muamba. But only if Bruce has an attacking CM next to him ;)

These performances are happening too many times with the current manager for my liking. How many games have we played diabolical football with no real fluididty and quality, i'm not saying this because we have lost but the performances are fast becoming a joke, even in the Championship we didn't play well, the majority of teams pass the ball better than we did, move quicker than us and seemed to know where each player was before they passed it, our players need that split second longer on the ball than everyone else.

Another problem i see is that we seem to play better football away from home, i fear for us next week against Bolton, i really do. We dont seem to be able to string two passes together at St Andrews and with Anelka and Diouf they are always going to be lethal on the counter attack.
