It keeps coming out of Bruce's mouth that we are the youngest side in the league and after our last shambles attempt of the premier league i for one wanted some younger players that could run for 90 mins. But looking at what ive seen over the past 5 games i think we need someone in the middle of the park with some expierence of this league, at the mo we have larrson, muamba, djourou and kapo none of which have the know how or expierence to kill a game off when required, me thinks our side is young ( GOOD ) but no expierence ( BAD ).

Im afraid at the mo it look's like MEN against BOY's.

Trying to KEEP THE FAITH

no but to be fair he did say 'in the middle of the park' and went on to list our midfield. out of you those listed only Nafti is a midfielder and he has hardly got a great deal of Prem expereince has he?

at the start of the season i said DJ's expereince would prove invaluable. personally i think we're counting the cost of letting Clemence go too quickly. should have promised him a move in January depending on how things were! but hindsight is great....

I guess that's why Bruce is fingers crossed in anticipation and hope that Yeung will provide enough cash to have the type of choice of keeping Clemence and DJC. Financially he was strapped.

Maybe Bruce is financially strapped but according to him he has "the best squad he has seen"

Yes you can forgive one bad performance and there is no doubt Blues will be tonked a few times this year.

But when i hear a manager state that he is working with the best squad, that gives me the impression he is happy with what he has bought in whatever the cost.

As i have repeatedly said when all the players are fit and available then will be the time to judge.

But for me once again the manager has put his head on the block with that statement and if in 10-15 games which will equate to half the season and the results and more importantly the performances have not improved what happens then??

What is worrying though is that the players keep changing but performances like that keep happening.

Whats the constant? The management team and i include the lot of them not just Bruce.

More worrying is the fact there are fans out there who actually think the current management team are ok and its everybody elses fault but theirs.

Imo of course

Thank's PENGUIN i did state in the middle of the park !! I for one after the last disaster wanted younger players who were up for the challenge. I was really optimistic after the 1st couple of games but now it just seems like were gonna get imbarressed every week. Ive sat at work this morning looking through the fixtures and i cant see us getting any points until Derby in Feb, Our back four are a disaster and i have no confidence in any of them, we cant keep a clean sheet even against some very poor teams, imagine when Liverpool come to town ( OMG ). You may laugh at the Derby score but we are no better, the fact our own manager was a very credable centre half so WTF can't he sort this bunch out?

Well Depressed after the ****'s result
