we have always been inconsistent thats the difference between a top4 team and an average team christ we were inconsistent last season but due to how poor the opposition were we came away with results, this season every team we play against only need one chance to score - something completly different to that of the championship under fry / francis in the championship we couldnt go 2 or 3 games without losing or dropping points i think the best i have seen under bruce with nearly two years ago when we won 4 games on the trot - if you are not happy with how we play then get use to it cos this is bruce and the club - we will struggle to win 2 games in a row in the premiership and you will see this club play very poorly in games that might not matter and play well in games that we have a better chance of winning |

Then we're no better than the crowds at the Emirates or Old Trafford who sit back and wait for the team to entertain them (except that they are sitting back and watching teams who much more often than not will entertain). Clearly the constant claims from some sections that we have one of the most passionate fanbases in the land is complete and utter nonsense if we can't even rouse ourselves to shout for the team when they're in need of some vocal support. What a depressing thought. |

I think everybody just has to get used to the idea that it's going to be a long, hard season. We're not a very good side, one of the worst in the division, but we've got a much better chance of beating the drop if we can fill the ground every week and scream our lungs out in support of the lads. Having said all that, there is an air of despondency around Blues at the moment, and it's not an overnight thing. Prices are too high in my opinion for what we're serving up, the coaching and tactics leave a lot to be desired, too much spin and negativity coming from the hierachy of the club, it's true you reap what you sow. Bolton is a massive game, one we surely have to win. Despite everything going on at the club at the moment, we must play our part. We've seen worse times than this. |
