Well its a much better result than the 6-0 thrashing given them by Reading.

Judging from the commentary Krysiak had to make quite a few saves, but what that means in regards to Tinys performance i dont know.

I wonder why Danns didnt figure.

Dave: Taarabt and Boateng were all over you

Me: Did none of our players perform? were even our reserve players that bad?

Dave:  your keeper was good

Basic gist of the conversation...

Now there's a real fan, one eyed on behalf of his team. Pity Blues fans can't catch te disease.

The only players of ours that was good was the keeper. lol that's just as it should be in the view of an opposing fan. The implication being hat if it hadn't been for your keeper we would have wiped the floor with you. Great stuff.

Any idea why they wouldn't give Kallon a run out?

I know trialists cant compete in competitive games, only friendlies, and i think reserve matches are competitive games aswell...

Might be wrong though :)

So in your world Wisel the report from the Boro game should have read something like this?
Quote:

Blues in front of an incredible 1000 travelling support fell to an unlikely defeat at a sun-drenched Riverside Stadium this afternoon as two lucky first half goals from David Wheater and Stuart Downing gave Boro a cushion they always looked like surrendering.
Steve Bruce made just one change from the side which had grabbed Blues' first Heroic Premier League win of the season at Pride Park last Saturday as they looked to record their third consecutive victory following the midweek thumping against the mighty Hereford in the Carling Cup.
The amazing Sebastian Larsson replaced the wonderful Gary McSheffrey who settled for a place on the bench. There was a return to Teeside for Stuart Parnaby, who received a good reception from the home crowd because they miss him so badly. One-time Blues target Mido (who was never really any good) was named in the poor Boro line-up.
After an enforced break of his own, referee Rob Styles got the game underway in glorious sunshine, with the home side kicking off and they were immediately on the defence by using the well known method of attacking with Wheater attempting to find Aliadiere with a delicate through ball which stood no chance of being converted.
As Boro continued to keep the ball in a desperate attempt to avoid losing, Parnanby was forced into playing attacking football which resulted in a lucky corner for Boro being conceded which Wheater shot wildly 2 inches over the bar.
Blues won their first corner in the seventh minutes after a mis-judgement by Luke Young, and Ridgewell climbed highest to head Larsson's only to find that Boro where up to their sneaky tricks of moving the goal posts.
It was a prelude to Boro taking an unlikely lead. As Blues were in the process attacking from a Boro corner, Andrew Taylor scuffed a cross from the left for an unknown Boro player to weakly knock a header into the bottom corner after an amazing attempt by Maik Taylor to stop it.
Blues continued to attack as Jaidi conceded a free-kick 25 yards out but Downing's shot was well held by Taylor low to his left.
The winger continued to cheat again a minute later, testing Taylor again as Blues came under defensive attacking play by Boro. In one of the many moments Blues dominance, Cameron Jerome volleyed well over for Blues. It was soon back to defending for Blues as Boro’s defensive strategy once again came into play as Aliadiere's shot pulled a world class save from  Taylor after a mazy run.
Blues tactics to stay in their own half almost collapsed when Jerome almost brought Blues level when latching onto a weak pass in midfield forcing a great save from Schwarzer.
As the game passed the half hour, Ridgewell was lucky to escape a caution from the obviously biased referee for standing to close to Aliadiere. A moment later Muamba received the game's first booking after Arca dived on the touchline.
In the 36th minute Boro went two in front, Andrew Taylor was again the provider, crossing for Boateng to nod the ball down and England man Downing had the most difficult  of tasks to knock the ball beyond the heroic Maik Taylor to extend the Boros lead.
