After his performances last season, and despite some concerns about his ability to perform at this higher level, could he be the element in the defence that will add some much needed stability. A Ridgewell/Taylor central defensive partnership - will it be an improvement?

I'm going to stick my neck on the line here and say that I hope he gets straight back in the side after he's got some match practice behind him. I think (unexpectantly) that we are missing him.

Yes, I would agree with you. I never rated Taylor but I think he could be better than what we've seen so far.

sorry but martin taylor is neither aggressive or pacey enough to handle the premiership

even with his physical attributes he seems to get steam rollered
