Saturdays performance was poor, I am sure we all agree, but for me the disappointment is that we are not attacking enough. Our intent is not made plain on the team sheet. I would not know who is best at their relative positions hell I've only being watching Blues for 39 years...what do I know; but it seems to me that two defensive midfield players in the centre of the park is not going to worry any one. I beleive we have enough firepower to stay up but only if the strikers are given enough ammunition. I think our best options are Larson, Muamba, Capo and McSheffery but their are other options. I have booked my tickets for Liverpool I fully expect a sterling performance one that me and my lad can return home and be proud of. Come on BLUES! |

All subsequent posts have been deleted. Let's start again, without the arguments, shall we? Mo x |

But there lays your problem, we have a manager who won't play without two defensive midfield players, he hasn't got the bottle, he has stated in interviews he plays with 2 defensive MF players and quote "im not going to change" so expect to carry on with negative slow pedestrian football :redcard: |

Thats a shame the argument was one of the better ones on here of late! Back on topic ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I honestly think that too many of us are reading too much into this tam and it's performances way to early. Dust will settle and Man City won't be in a champions league position when the battle lines are drawn. |

Agreed, 5 games in isn't exactly the clearest of indications of where we'll finish in the table but after 10 we might get a better idea. |
