Wenger has apparently indicated that there will be no chance of Djourou staying with us for the full season and that he'll be returning to the backside in January. This is reported on Clubcall.

Bad news if it's true !

No great surprise when Toure and Eboue are off to the African Nations.

It was always said that he was only with us until January. We might have a bit more money to spend then, though.

Hmm...I wonder if you'll get other loan players from Arsenal. Watch out for Fran Merida...attacking central midfielder. He's a bloody gem and mirrors Cesc Fabregas. This is the season where he should be pushing first team fooball. Perhaps Steve Bruce may get lucky in persuading Wenger to let him leave on loan till the end of the season.

He'll be playing vs. Nigeria tomorrow in the final of the U17 WC.

We had no chance cause of African Nations but it gives us time to get someone else in... and as much as he is rated he is still young and makes mistakes

Hopefully with Carson coming in we will have more cash to get someone in permanent rather than on loan..

Might be worth thinking of going for a centre half from west ham as they have loads at the moment... or maybe going for Hyppia if he cant secure a position at liverpool
