Sorry for this rant and maybe it's not the place to put it on but I have to show my frustration..... I run, for my sins, the North West Supporters club. I live in Bolton and I have a Season Ticket in the RS. For away games I order over the phone with the ticket office. I now notice that for the Blackburn away cup game the added fee per ticket is once again £3.50 per ticket. It was had enough to swallow the £1.50 last year but it now looks the norm for debit cards t have another £2 on top. Today I have just ordered close to £350 worth of scouse tickets all on the same card but I have been charged £2 for each ticket ordered on the ONE single transaction. If it was £2 for the transaction ok fair enough but FFS this is just taking it one step further. I suppose you can say that I could buy my ticket at the ground, if it suited home games, but I would rather spend 30 mins in the forge having a beer than queueing a the ticket office with £350 of cash in m hand. Seems there is not a lot we can do, other than next year I might vote with my feet, but I know I won't. Any of Ex-Pats and supporters club feel then same way. Andy |

Although i sympathise with you, I understand the club get charged by the CC or DC company so they are only passing the cost onto you, the customer. I'm not sure how much they get charged but I expect its a percentage of the transaction and not a fixed amount. I stand to be corrected however. |

Gotta be honest but I think that is shocking - if it was a one off charge per transaction then fair enough but to be charged £2 for every ticket in one single transaction is just shocking. I very much doubt the credit card companies would be passing on a charge for each ticket in such a fashion. |

Depending on the vendor company it is a charge of 50p for a five or ten pound transaction, not each individual item within the deal. Some companies just swallow it though. KRO  |

I have a small business and I have to pay 15p per transaction for debit cards and less than 2% for credit - I'm sure the Blues will be able to negotiate better terms because of their turnover. Conclusion? It's a rip-off |

Andy, I thought it was £2 card fee per transaction (on top of the £1.50 per ticket "booking fee"). It was for me, anyway - I ordered mine and Phil's ticket's for 'Pool today and was charged £3 booking fee (2x£1.50) and only one £2 card fee - total £73 (2x34, 2x1.50 and 1x£2) I don't agree with the extra "tax", but £2 means I don't have to travel up to Blues to cash buy. Can't believe you got charged £2 card fee per ticket - that's gotta be wrong. It's only 1 transaction, fgs... KRO, C. PS: And it's on top of the £2.76 "fee" per away game for joining the ATC (52.50/19 - reduces if any away cup games). C. |

My suggestion would be to ring the ticket office and ask for the manager and explain as it seems someone has got this completely wrong or you can email Debbie.silver@bcfc.com and sarah.gould@bcfc.com whichever you find easier. I hope you get it sorted **thumbup |

I have a query regarding how much i have been charged for tickets. So far three emails sent, no replies. After no reply to first one I changed the recipient, still no reply. Quite honestly a joke customer service wise. They take advantage of our loyalty and theres very little we can do, and they know it or they wouldnt be so downright arrogant. No other decent business would behave in this way or survive. I totally agree about being ripped off with credit/debit card fees too. I make sure I go to the ground and pay cash on principle. luckily I can. Yours, only 40 years a blues fan. |

because the agenda of this club is to milk you of your hard-earned any way they can. had ds/dg/kb had the option they would have strung you up by your nuts and flogged you until you handed over your piggy bank too...after all, supporting your club (a business designed only to make money) is your duty not your pleasure. of course, you could always refrain from spending anything with blues like most people on these forums... **thumbup |

Wrong, When you go into a shop they don't add a CC or DC to the bill because as any ordnary business knows this is a cost that is absorbed as part of normal running and passed on to all customers with salary, utilities etc in the product selling prices. Indefensible. As soon as these parctices are stopped I will go to the shop and buy products, go the tea bars and buy something, buy a programme. While they exist I wont spend a penny above my season ticket and home cup games. |

Try buying an airline line ticket on line, £2-£3 credit card charge, £5 charge per piece of baggage, travel insurance charged extra, fuel surcharge fee , what was a £50 flight turned to £90. Its a rip off and blues seem to have followed this type of price building. as an aside I am still waiting for my sons blues shirt ordered and paid for 4 weeks before kick off. Every time I call I'm told its is being dealt with and the delivery company is being blamed (they blamed the delivery company last year when my season ticket did not turn up) rubbish en it.... Buy the way Bruce In |

Spudd I posted the same type of thread last season, quite frankly it's a rip off. Ikea charge 75p to pay by credit card, irrespective of how many items you put through the till. Andy |

In my experience if you want to pay face value for any ticket anywhere you normally have to go their ticket office and hand over cash. Anything outside of this incurs an extra fee. Previously you would send a cheque and there would be an admin fee to cover postage etc. Now you can complete the attraction without moving fom your armchair using a credit or debit card , organisations all around the world make a charge for this service. The answer to the problem is to buy your tickets using cash. OH! people say what a drag I can't be arsed to go to the ticket office, I live 150 miles away. Well I live 150 miles away so what I do is, when I attend a match, I buy tickets for the next match cash up front or if I can't be bothered I phone up and pay the poxy £2 fee. The is a lot better than paying the £50 it would cost me to drive from West Sussex to the ticket office in order to save £2. I can only imagine that even getting to the ticket office fron anywhere in Brum (except Small Heath) would cost at least £2 in petrol or bus fares. wtf** |

It sounds an horrendous rip off and far above any charges for DC or CC made elsewhere, but as Willie says it is worth getting it checked out by the ticket office manager. Are there DC/CC and postage costs in here, or are there any charges from Blackburn included? |

I have just had it clarified with the ticket office manager that your are charged a fee of £1.50 per away ticket (which it always has been) and £2 per transaction on a debit or credit card, card no matter how many tickets you buy on that card. |

Would anyone from the club care to defend what is seemingly the indefensible? I assume not. |

£3.50 per ticket. A break down of how much it truly costs possibly. |

I think TJ read it wrong I read it as £2.00 in total no matter how many tickets, he's read it as £2 a ticket |

It's only £3.50 if you pay by card and it's for one away ticket. Numerous tickets only incur the same £2 charge. |
