Blues Plan 'man Utd' Style Ticket Ripoff; SHOCK EXCLUSIVE!!!

I've just heard from a highly placed club source that next season Blues intend to copy Man Ure and introduce the following scam:

1. All season tickets must be bought by Credit or Debit card.

2. Season ticket holders have to buy all home cup tickets, the money will be debited automatically from your cards.

Man Ure have lost 20000 ST holders over the summer, this scam could be a disaster for Blues.

this would be bad imo

having said that, it was only a matter of time i suppose. most club's revenue comes from sources other than st sales so the impact isn't as bad financially as it may appear.

however, the bad will this would create around clubs would contribute massively to killing the game as a live spectacle imo...sad days indeed if this comes to pass.... :(

I can see them selling around 10,000 season tickets max if they pull that one off!

I don't see how they can make any plans for next season when in all probability the present board will not be in control!!

As for Carson Yeung, I cannot see that his first act as owner would be to instigate something that is likely to cost the club the loss of more ST holders!!

I won't be going into panic mode just yet.

I don't believe you JJ.

Sure the Man U story is real - but your bit is obviously made up.

Do you walk into pubs and start fights too? :D :P

I do not think that will go down too well in the Fizzy Pop league :silence:

Cut from the original story.

The United spokesman added: "We've a waiting list of 14,000 for season tickets and we regularly turned 5,000 people away for Premiership games last season."

Something our board will have to seriously consider, I mean how many are on our waiting list :copno:

It wouldn't surprise me if this is one of any number of ticketing schemes being evaluated either by the current board or by Carson Yeung and his team. They will obviously look at a number of scenarios and pick whichever one they feel is correct for the club at the time.

Whether they'll pick the right one of course will be a matter of opinion.

Man U can do it because there is still a high demand for STs. Here, many current ST holders would revert to paying on the day. I certainly would. I doubt very much that this will happen.

Your post is a complete fabrication and there is no truth in it whatsoever. This thread is now closed. I suggest you are more careful in checking your 'facts' in future.
