Bruce set to have fully-fit Birmingham squad

Quote:

Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce is hopeful of having a fully-fit squad available for the next league clash with Bolton at St Andrews on September 15.

Bruce said: "Damien Johnson, Franck Queudrue, Rafael Schmitz and Daniel de Ridder are all back in training to some degree.

"We expect that maybe for the Bolton game - or maybe the Liverpool game after that - everyone will be available - unless anything happens with any of our international players while they are away."

Good news ...

If there is a fully fit squad, then the eleven sent out against Bolton will be an indication of Bruce's intent for the season. They, like us, are in danger of being sucked into a real dogfight, and three points would be absolutely huge for either side.

Let's hope Bruce goes all out to get them. We shall see. Hopefully those off on international duty will return unhurt and ready.

I'm far from DJs biggest fan, but after some of this season's performances I'll be glad to see him available again.

Good news. Particularly looking forward to seeing Schmitz and The Riddler.
