Not generally a fan of metal (more specifically, the big-haired screechy-voiced 1980s variety) but there are some interesting punk/metal crossover bands - none more so IMO than Therapy?, who continue the proud Irish/Northern Irish tradition for producing quality punk bands.

since Charlie mentioned a bit of a metal/punk cross over here is some quality 'punk n roll' for ya

Great riffy rock n roll with a big punk edge throughout and better chorus than most pop bands

She's got cracking taste, Kev! One of my absolute fave bands from that era. Musically I love the way they flirted with all kinds of darker genres and brought them into punk, and Siouxise herself seems like such a fascinating and intelligent person.

This is probably my favourite song of my favourite Banshees album - can hear areal affinity for Joy Division and co on this.

The Pistols gig was excellent as usual. Kid Vicious couldn't make it so was replaced with a inferior clone, still good but Kid rocks.

Support from Complete Dysfunction was great, I really liked them and have been listening to their foul mouthed CD this week. They're on You Tube but couldn't find a song to show without any swearing lol ;)

Great venue The Roadhouse and a good turn out again for Johnny & co **thumbup
