Would you believe my luck Setanta are carrying the game 8.00 am live EST with a tape delay at 1215 EST My cable company don't carry it so I've got to pray it's on Pay Per View and they won't have schedules till this Thursday ..........if not it's a desperate search for a British/Irish pub that carries Setanta satellite.........May even have to drive to Orlando (105 miles from my house)........the things we BlueNoses go through eh ?? :banghead: I thought Sky Sports we showing the game in England....is that not quite correct ?? |

Read the header ,mate !! I don't live in Brum anymore......still get homesick for these games though ........a seasoned veteran of these matches v Vile for more than 40- years :applause: :banner: Found a sports bar on Clearwater Beach that's showing the game at 5pm local time.....cheap cold beer, buffalo chicken wings, nachos ,gorgeous waitresses serving it all and everything..............I've got it made ..........Just wondering whether to take the MRS :silence: .....well,probably will......she can drive me home **thumbup I asked 'em if they were showing it LIVE and the owner bust himself laughing.....game is on 8 am in the morning over here local time......on a SUNDAY too.............He said he doesn't open that early and he wouldn't even do that for the bloody Super Bowl :LMAO: :LMAO: Oh ! and please folks NO PM's Sunday ....don't ruin the day by telling me the score |

Apologies for not making myself clear..........I thought the letters U S A would be crystal clear enough I was merely asking the UK based audience about the match being on Sky as those games tend to be shown on regular or digital cable over here BTW....why did you feel the urge to cop such a NASTY and OBNOXCIOUS attitude in your reply, haven't the foggiest idea what you meant about a 'monopoly'.........wasn't expecting that :banghead: Little uncalled for don't you think ??? |

The above quote is the last line of your initial post. So I answered it ... on Sky Sports at 1.00pm. You asked if your thoughts were correct and I confirmed, also adding the KO time (couldn't transpose to your local time as I didn't know whereabouts in the States you were living). |

But you didn't add anything about the rather daft comment about Clearwater Beach being like B6 or this 'monopoly on derby games' :silence: Ah well ! Where there's a reason there's a rhyme :silence: I heard Setanta are showing the game too so I'm surprised Sky have it as well Maybe Setanta are just doing the international broadcast Ah well,I probably won't be able to see it live but at least I can see the whole game :drink: |

When I read your respnse I just got narked that you took the pee about not reading the header, when all I was doing was answering your "thought it was on sky" question. I was that narked, I saw red and laid into the rest of your post. I do prefer Fort Lauderdale though. I go last 2 weeks in Feb most years. Anyway hope you find somewhere at 8am, if not, don't log on before you watch a delayed feed. ..And keep up the nostalgic posts. It seems we started watching the Blues at around the same time. KRO |

Apologies lowdham Looking back I didn't make the post very clear, I guess Villa 2 v Blues 4 in October 1967 (great couple of goals by Barry Bridges) was my first Brum 'derby' too **thumbup **thumbup .....can't remember the goals much as being a kid at the time the view was somewhat restricted in a 49,000 plus crowd :banghead: and I was near the back of the Holte End No hard feelings |
