The Missing Match; Anger at GMTV

I've just fired an email of to GMTV complaining in the strongest possible terms about the coverage of this weekend's fixtures on GMTV at 0630.

Not only was our game not mentioned, it wasn't even on the caption. Stapleton thinks the big fixture is Pompey v Man City.

Disgusting.

I agree Jack, thousands of people face their houses being wiped out today by a tidal surge, some areas of Mexico are destroyed, Dharfur is aflame, innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan are being injured and killed daily and a third of the world live in abject poverty.

So lets get angry at GMTV because they didn't mention a football match.

I'm now firmly in the 'Jolly Jack has lost his marbles' camp now as well :D :D :LMAO:

If it was at 6:30 I'm not sure many die hard football fans saw it.

Yeah, I mean Argos, it must be a Burton on trent thing.

I get all mine from Selfridges, but I prefer La Senza for my underwear :ph43r:

no self-respecting gay guy would have ever made some of the hair and clothing choices i am still trying to live down!

as for stalking you Proccy, you flatter yourself - it was merely the first post i came to this morning and you were talking camp... and yesterday the last post was you talking all boys school and behind bike sheds! the pen, Proccy, is mightier than the sword. however big your sword may be

football in Brimingham just isn't fashioanable enough for anyone outside the city to care about.

i guess until we - as in all of us - start winning trophies and leagues it will be the same, which is hardly fair bearing in mind Newcastle can't win a coin toss!

i

I posted a question yesterday regarding Blues celeb fans. Answer is not many. As we have so few luvvies then their industry, of which GMTV is a part of, is not going to be that interested. The North East clubs have quite a few luvvies hence their derby gets a mention.

Don't worry, we'll get coverage on the sports channels.

I am not stupid enough to think this matters at all compared to the things you've listed. As what we will be remembering on Sunday will remind us of.

And I know what goes on in the world I'm off somewhere hot and sunny for four months again next year.

Hey, I went to an all boys school, I turned out alright. Turves Green Boys, great days. Jumpers for goal posts, and all that.

Enough chat, I'm off to meet my "friend" Gerald who is bringing the rubber gloves and a tub of margerine.

i also think that in posting his message on the blues chat part of this site, and not general chat, kinda shows Jacks intentions to talk football and Blues and not natural disasters and war!

does that mean that Jack should instead be found on general chat talking about the woes of the world...? no, didn't think so! < <

surely your comments - perhaps in the form of a strong angry complaining email - should be levelled at GMTV also for failing to deliver uninterrupted coverage of the tidal waves etc, instead choosing to talk about the weekends' football. how dare they.

and let's not even mention the fact they failed to mention one of the country's biggest derby games! :ph43r:

Well - GMTV :banghead:

I'm still waiting for replies from my emails about that useless woman who has ruined Strictly Come Dancing.I refuse to print her silly name.

She has obviously not taken my sincere advice, that began with sequins and poise and ended with destinations. I think she may have had her brain flown in from an archeological dig.

Sorry about this, but I'm still fuming. GMTV couldn't find their own bottom with their own hands. (Trying to keep with the sentiments in this thread :D )
