I know we're used to it, but it still annoys me that our biggest game of the year is completely ignored by Sky.

Prmeier League Preview last night gave us a 30 second team news slot, compared to Sunderland's 10 minute preview. We're not featuring on Soccer Saturday and I can garuntee you that Sky will make more of a deal out of the game after us on Super Sunday.

It wouldn't annoy me of they didn't do it every time we play them.

The bias towards certain games and teams is disgraceful imo.

This is all part of the bias in football, its with the media the officals and those at the fa, as always been like that and always will...but we all know including our friends from down the road that this is one of the biggest city derbys going. And to both set of fans the biggest, doesnt matter what others think.

Which is bigger blues v villa (city derby) or a north east derby involving sunderland v newcastle ( not in the same city) similiar to blues playing coventry is that derby match. Maybe thats why they try and hype it up because they have no big match derbys,, can you imagine similaiar hype that would be invovled with coventry v blues? No i wouldnt either because it aint as big as blues v villa.

Its one thing no one can take away from a Birmingham or villa fan is the special occassion it brings to all brummies. :Blues:

why would they care so much today when it hasnt been played? remember there are fewer games tomorrow and ours being one of the key ones, but then going on about it both days might tick the vile fans off, boasting bou how we are going to beat them and then talkin about how badly we beat them

Good. I'm ignoring Sky too. There are other people you can pay (legally!) to watch our footy if you can't make it to the ground. And if you live in Europe or elsewhere around our planet, there are a multitude of channels you can watch this on, from Zimbabwe to NZ, Finland to Chile. (Provided by TWI)

Given that the game is not sold out, perhaps sky are just reflecting the lack of interest and apathy shown by many of our fans.
