Just got off the phone after speaking to a mate of mine in Brum who does roughly 10 home games a year....he has to work some weekends

He told me he simply refuses to pay 45 quid for a ticket....even if it is a local derby

He also told me he will attend even more once Bruce is replaced but I don't want to take the topic off track and be jumped on again.......just quoting what a typical Blues fan on the street told me .......and he has followed them since the late 60's too

He also mentioned he went to one game earlier this season and couldn't believe there is simply NO atmosphere at SA anymore....he described it like a morgue

I think 'price' is the main issue with the fans that choose to stay away....it's their money, their perogative etc etc

not everybody can/will pay £45 for 1 game and who's to knock them? for people on minimum wage that represents around 25% of their take-home pay or more. the problem lies with football not the fans imo...

I just can't believe we can't sell out for the Villa match. Definitely shows how overpriced the tickets are, astounding

Is your mate real, or is this just another way of getting the topic onto your well known anti club negative vibe.

Fair enough about the prices but the tickets arent £45 anymore. They are £30 so i dont think there is any reason why it shouldnt sell out. People should stop the lies IE Prices, I hate Bruce/The Board etc and just say the truth. You cant be bothered to go but will moan when we are struggling. FACT!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone thats there tomorrow, we need to raise our game in the stands. Sing till you cant sing no more. Shout till you cant shout no more. Boo every touch they have and show them we pure and simply hate everythink about them!!!!! Make it a game to remember.

There is a big advertisement on page 9 of the Evening Mail tonight selling tickets for tomorrows game.

I find it really embarassing that we still have tickets for sale a day before a derby game. Doesn't look too clever when we are trying to get the council to use tax payers money to help fund a new ground when we struggle fill the one we have already.

Our support has been poor all season especially at away games so I think the problem goes deeper than ticket prices.

Agree totally mate.....very good post....

I'd love to see something in writing where tickets are suddenly thirty quid ?? if so they are restricted view ones no doubt

If this story is true which I highly doubt it's just enough sad attempt by the board to get bums on seat at the last minute and would certainly be a kick in the teeth to those Bluenoses who have had to shell out forty five pounds this same week

Wipe the egg off the face time once more :banghead: Yes,it is very embarrassing
