Isnt all about football, come on lads lets put this game into perspective. Its nothing compared to what went on in two world wars and the sacrifices made by many many people. We can enjoy games and occassions like today because of those sacrifices so lets just remember its a game of football, yes have passion and committment but thats it, its not live or death scenario like what millions of people had to go through.

So come on lets all blues and villa follow our teams in the right way today, NO trouble I hope will be seen.

Just like to say THANK YOU to all those veterans who suffered and gave so much. :applause:

Thank God someone's had the decency to post that on here. The fact that the game is even on at the time it is is quite frankly a disgrace and an affront to those people who would really prefer to honour their country's REAL heroes. I hope that whoever suggested this time and those within the Club who didn't have the common decency and one iota of the bravery shown by those who SHOULD be being honoured today, hang their heads in shame. Whether it was police or TV the clubs have a perogative and should have exercised it.

How ironic that Services of Rememberance, for those who paid the ultimate price in fighting to protect their country and provide freedom for all of us, have been cancelled today because there aren't enough police to monitor and close the roads. Reason? because they're all at SA to keep the idiots apart and stop them fighting their own version of what they perceive to be a justifiable conflict, ie because someone dares to support a different football team in the same city and wear its colours instead of ours.

This game, at this time today , is a disgrace to the City of Birmingham and its fallen.

There's no drink because I'm bloody angry with the selfishness of some people in this great City!

Are you equally disgusted that shops, cinemas, theatres etc are open and operating today ? Because I can't see any difference between football and any other form of entertainment/commerce. Surely the wars were fought to give us the freedom to do what we like when we like. Its not disrespectful to carry on with our normal lives.

BTW I am fairly sure it was the police who had the final say on when this game should be played.

No two minute silence before the game. There is no excuse. In a time when we have silences for the locker room boys dog dying the very least we could do is have a two minutes silence as a mark of respect. I'm absolutely disgusted >:-(

I couldn't believe that we didn't hold a minutes silence either.

I also cannot believe the eejits who were causing trouble after the game. To fight over football is bad at any time, to do it on rememberence Sunday is the most disgusting lack of respect. Every person who stopped to take pictures on the phone is as also as bad as the ones throwing the stones. What a pathetic bunch of lowlifes.

According to Radio WM it was Sky Sports decision not to hold the 1 minutes silence,

Sky Sports thinking was that the fans would not uphold the silence for 1 min.

What a total load of B******S, it had nothing to do with scheduling then Sky?

Sky Sports what a disgrace.
