What exactly is there to be positive about? 1 We spent £7m on new players this summer(i know there are add ons and extra bits to pay if we win the Champions's League) and added some hotch potch freebies and loanees to that. 2 Its a miracle that we are even semi competitive at this level with that 'massive' investment.....I take my hat off to Bruce for that. 3 We have won only 3 games-V Derby,Wigan and Bolton-the worst 3 teams along with ourselves 4 Vile haven't won away all season till today-they are not a good side. 5 Sorry folks-some of you won't like this-Ridgewell is a liability! Gormless for the own goal today, was he competitive enough for the killer 2nd goal? Last weeks' clearance for the killer Everton goal could be argued that it was teed up perfectly for Carsley's shot. Bent's goal V Wigan-couldn't deal with the ball over the top. Chopra's goal for Sunderland's equaliser-found wanting with the ball over the top. 6 2 defensive minded centre mid players who are not capable of providing the ball that unlocks opposition defenders. 7 1 forward at home time and time again. 8 The continued tactic of putting square pegs in round holes-the most recent Schmitz at left back. Here's an idea-try playing a left footed left back at left back. This is not Sunday morning football. 9 If we don't beat Pompey and Reading before xmas and I mean both of them we are in massive trouble-have you seen the Jan fixtures. Sorry-I'm on a bit of a downer right now. |

How'd you work that one out? He'll play Palacios in the centre with Muamba and play Larsson wide right. |

so thats 3 places took up... with no kapo or de ridder. so who plays out of them two, and how do you justify dropping the other? its a hard choice for the 4 midfielders, which may be a reason why bruce opts for 5... |

The centre midfield is not balanced, it wants a 'ratting player' and a 'skilfull going forward player' with Nafti and Meuwamba we have two good ratters...one must go,I would choose Nafti to play alongside Larrson, given a choice......... Now the quote it split em up is correct, to me that is Brucies 'akilis heal'[+Taylor in goal] |

I thought we started well showed passion won the majority of the 50/50 balls, looked even better when we were playing 442. If Ridgewells header had gone in we would of walked away with 3points! |

The lads played well in the 2nd half today After they scored in the 10th minute we looked lost and nervy But the ONLY positive I can take is that ALL these so called Bluenoses who were putting Vile on a big big pedestal last week were shown to have plenty of egg on their faces depite the result in 'their' favour One so called Blues fan even tipped them to win 3-0......Yes....3-0 ??....right here FCS ....on a site for loyal BLUENOSES...........Opinions are one thing and have to be tolerated but I swear I'd never read so much hogwash about Vile being serious Euro contenders and a million light years ahead of us................Big Club my backside.............The Blues pounded them in the 2nd half today and showed them for what they are....a VERY average mid table PL side that have already been torn apart by Man United and Liverpol and were hanging on for their lives during the last half an hour at SA today .....Big credit to our lads :applause: Gareth Barry 'did' Djourou in the 1st 5 minutes and take another look at the tackle.............He stamped on Djourou's ankle and Djourou was in serious trouble for quite a while after that,Barry could have and should have been given a red but he wasn't being so early in the game and supposedly England's new found hero in mifield :LMAO: Lord ! Give us strength for Austria/Switzerland 2008 if we even make it of course Ashley Young was always looking to fall over with the slightest contact.........nothing more than a little CHEAT with some pace....and Bennett not only had the gall to book Danny De Ridder for siimulation but we had a clear hand ball by Zat Knight in their area turned away too If they were that good why did they keep the ball near our corner flag for a whole 5 minutes at the end...............the likes of Pompey or Blackburn would have been looking to bury us O'Neill must have been carrying quite a few shamrocks today and they worked for him At least these so called Blues fans on here will be HAPPY with the result :banghead: :banghead: Stay over in B6 FFS |

I find it a lot easier to park outside the ground .As the numbers fall under the one trick pony. |
